We join you in prayer for your brother-in-law's healing and stand in agreement with you, believing in the power of Jesus' name. Let's come together and lift this situation up to our Heavenly Father.
"But Jesus, turning to them, said, 'Daughters of Jerusalem, don't weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children'" (Luke 23:28 WEB).
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother-in-law. We thank You that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name. We speak life and healing over his body, and we believe that he is totally healed according to Your will.
As we rightly divide the word of truth, we will clearly state that we do not know if it is God's will to heal him physically. We do know that it is God's will for salvation of him and the rest of the family. Salvation is a much greater need and one that we should be praying for. "Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her" (Hosea 2:14 WEB).
We are praying for the doctors and the test results, that they may reflect Your healing power. We also pray for peace and strength for the family during this time. We ask that You use this situation to draw everyone closer to You and that Your will be done in their lives.
As believers, we know that our ultimate hope is in You, Lord, and not in any medical report. "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" (Psalm 119:105 WEB). We trust in Your goodness and Your plan for his life.
We also pray for his spiritual healing and well-being, that he may experience Your love and peace in a profound way. We ask that You reveal Yourself to him and that he may come to know You as his Lord and Savior if he hasn't already. As the psalmist says, "[t]he LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" We ask that he may be able to say these words and mean them as a believer that trusts in God for salvation.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on the promises of God and trusting in His unfailing love. Remember that He is faithful, and He cares for you and your family deeply. Be strong and courageous knowing that you are a "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers" (Psalm 1:1 WEB). As a believer in Jesus Christ, you are blessed and will be blessed.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
