We understand that you are struggling with chronic pain and desire healing. Firstly, we are praying in faith for your healing, we believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is able to heal you from this chronic pain.
We want to encourage you with the words of Jesus Christ in John 15:7 WEB If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.
When we abide in Christ and His words abide in us, we can ask whatever we wish and it will be done for us. This shows us the power of being close to Jesus and having His words close to us. We are also reminded in Romans 8:26 WEB in like manner the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.
When we don't know how to pray, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us. This means that even when we struggle to pray, the Holy Spirit is able to express our deepest needs to God. You are not alone in this struggle. God is with you and He cares about your pain.
Let’s pray together:
Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up this dear one who is struggling with chronic pain. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that You have the power to heal. We ask that You touch their body, ease their pain, and restore their health.
Father, help us to trust in Your goodness and Your timing. Give the one requesting strength and patience as they wait on You. Help them to Abide in Christ, knowing that in You, they have the victory. Help them to also understand the greatest healing and miracle is salvation in Jesus Christ. If they have not already, ask Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior. If they have, ask for strengthened faith in their daily walk. We are grateful for Your love and mercy. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, remember the words of James 5:15-16 WEB, The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
Even with healing, we are to confess our sins to one another and pray for each other. It is so important to remain steadfast in faith and prayer, and to support one another in the body of Christ. We encourage you to seek prayer support from fellow believers as well.
