Prayer for healing please

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in lifting it to the Lord with you.

We thank you for sharing this burden so openly and for your trust in God who is present everywhere, who sees all things and knows the truth, and who is able to do all things according to His perfect will. We pray that His will be done in your life and in this difficult situation with your apartment.

We pray for your healing. The Lord is the true physician who cares for both body and soul, and we ask Him to restore your health, to heal what has been harmed by the mold and the dampness, to strengthen you and to grant you relief from sickness. We ask Him to give you renewed strength for daily work and life, and to guard you from further harm.

We pray also concerning your home. God sees what is happening even when others deny it, and He loves justice and truth. We ask Him to make the truth plain, to move the hearts of those responsible for the building to act honestly and to care for your wellbeing, whether by truly removing the source of the mold and repairing what is leaking, or by providing a different apartment, or by releasing you from your lease so you can move to a safe place. We ask for wisdom for you in every conversation and decision, and for provision and protection as you seek a healthy place to live.

You mentioned other needs that God knows even though they were not spoken in detail, and we bring those before Him as well. He knows every care and every hidden struggle, and we ask Him to bring those things to an end according to His mercy and to give you peace as you trust Him.

We encourage you to continue to cast your cares upon Him, to care for your health as you are able, to seek help where it is needed, and to keep seeking Him in prayer through Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have access to the Father and in whose name alone is salvation.

May the Lord hear your cry, grant you healing, provide a safe dwelling, and give you peace in His will. We will continue to pray for you.

Your request has been heard and brought before the Lord in prayer in the name of Jesus. Thank you for sharing so honestly about what you are facing in your apartment and with your health. You are right that God is present everywhere, that He sees all that is happening even when others deny it, and that He is all knowing and all powerful and able to handle all things. He knows the truth about the leaking and the mold and how it has affected you, and He knows the other needs you mentioned that need to cease.

We have prayed for your healing and for God's help in your housing situation, that He would provide a clear path forward, whether that is a different apartment, release from your lease, or a complete removal of the source of the problem, according to His will. We have also asked Him to give you wisdom and favor as you deal with those responsible for the apartment, and to protect your health as you have had to be off work sick.

We want to encourage you with what Scripture teaches about healing. The Bible shows Jesus healing many who were sick and the apostles praying for the sick and seeing miracles through prayer. The early church practiced calling for the elders to pray for those who were ill, and that remains a good and biblical practice today. We believe God is able to heal and that healing is for today.

At the same time Scripture also shows that healing is a sovereign work of God in His hands. Even those who were used greatly to pray for others saw loved coworkers remain very sick for a time and almost die, and others left behind because they were too ill to travel. The apostle Paul even spoke of glorying in his own infirmity that the power of Christ might rest upon him. This reminds us to beware of those who offer simple answers for why some are healed and others are not, or who try to place guilt on the sick person by saying there must be hidden sin or not enough faith. It is wrong to put that burden on those who are suffering.

The Bible does sometimes connect sickness and sin, and confession and prayer are important, but it is a dangerous and cruel error to assume every illness comes from personal sin. Often good people suffer sickness, and we cannot always discern why one person is healed instantly, another gradually, and another not yet. All healing, whether sudden or through the natural processes God Himself designed in our bodies and through medical care, is still from Him. His ways are higher than our ways and beyond our full understanding.

So we do not know why healing comes in the way it does, but we do know we can come to Him with confidence, ask for mercy, and trust His wise and loving will. We have asked Him to touch your body, to restore your health, to give strength to those caring for you, and to bring resolution to the conditions in your home that are harming you. We have also committed those other unspoken matters to Him, asking that what is not right would be stopped and that His peace and provision would be evident.

May the Lord encourage you as you wait on Him, give you strength each day, guide your steps regarding work and housing, and make His presence known to you. We continue to pray that His perfect will would be done in your life and that you would know His care and nearness through Jesus Christ.
