We are truly heartened to join you in prayer for your precious daughter. Let us first address the elephant in the room. You have neglected to mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. In fact scripture make this abundantly clear where it says:
Be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Acts 4:10-12 WEB
"who became the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood; and he made us to be a Kingdom, priests to his God and Father; to him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen."
Revelation 1:5-6 WEB
We need to have faith. Believe that Jesus can do anything, but His will must be sovereign in our lives. We must be willing to accept whatever outcome He deigns best for your daughter. God's will is best and we want His will to be done. God's will may mean healing in this life, but it may not. Jesus is still the answer and he still is in control. When his disciples asked him why a man was born blind, Jesus responded:
Jesus answered, "Neither did this man sin, nor his parents; but, that the works of God might be revealed in him."
John 9:3 WEB
As you raise your daughter, look for God's plan in her life and be sure to tell her the Good News of the Gospel.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious daughter to You. Lord, You know her needs and the desires of her mother's heart. We ask for Your healing touch upon her, that her leg may be made whole and her developmental challenges be overcome. We pray that You would give her the ability to read and comprehend and excel in mathematics.
We pray for wisdom and strength for her mother as she raises her daughter. We ask for godly discernment and faith to believe in your power to heal her daughter. We pray that you would help her mother bring her up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
Lord, we also pray for a godly husband for her mother to help her as they raise their daughter together. We pray that you would help her mother look to you to direct her in raising her daughter. We pray that Your will be done in this situation, and that through her life, many would come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Jesus:
Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."
Mark 9:23 WEB
Stand firm in your faith, and trust in the Lord's goodness and sovereignty. He is working all things together for good, even in this challenging situation.
