Your prayer for healing in your head and brain has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before Christ with care and hope.
We pray that Christ Himself, who is the true Head of His Body, will show His mercy to you. As life flows from the head to every member according to its need, so Christ supplies His people, touching each member and giving what is needed for life and growth. He knows how to reach what is weak and hurting, and His touch gives strength. We ask Him to lay His healing hand upon you, to bring clarity, peace and restoration to your mind and body according to His wisdom and love, and to keep you bound to Him in love, for it is in that union that His life flows to us.
You also asked that He would show you what you need to repent of and show you the way. This is a good and humble prayer, and God delights to answer it. The Lord is longsuffering and patient, not desiring to condemn but to lead us to repentance. He has given us the ability to discern good and evil, and He calls us gently and also warns us, so that we will turn to Him. Do not be afraid to bring your heart openly before Him. True repentance is not just tears or regret, but a godly sorrow that turns away from sin and turns toward Christ for forgiveness, a sorrow that leads to salvation and leaves no regret. It is different from a sorrow that only fears consequences but does not truly turn. If Esau sought blessing with tears yet without a true change of heart, his tears could not obtain it. God wants a real turning of the heart, confessing sin honestly and receiving His forgiveness.
The Church is like a healing bath for the soul, where stains are washed away by many forms of repentance, through confession, prayer, hearing the Word, and turning from what harms the soul. Think of a physician who does not cut off the head to cure a disease of the head, but cuts off the disease itself. Christ, the great Physician, does the same. He does not cast you away, but He works to remove what is sick and to restore what is whole.
So we encourage you to keep seeking Him daily. Bring your sins before Him plainly as He brings them to your mind, trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and forgiveness, stay in the Scriptures, and walk closely with other believers who can pray with you and help you discern His way. If there are specific sins the Spirit shows you, confess them and turn from them. If there is worry or fear, bring that also to Him. He will guide you step by step.
Let us pray together:
Lord Jesus Christ, You are our Head and our life. You know this dear one and the pain and need in the head and brain. We ask You to come near, to touch and to heal according to Your perfect will, to give wisdom to all who care for this need, and to grant peace that passes understanding. Show what should be repented of, give godly sorrow that leads to life, grant full forgiveness through Your cross and resurrection, and make Your way plain. Lead out of confusion and into Your light, and strengthen faith to trust You more. We ask this in Your holy and saving name, Amen.
Continue to seek Him and do not lose hope. Even when healing is slow and understanding comes little by little, His desire for you is good, and His power to save and to restore is sure. He who rose from the dead is able to keep and to heal both soul and body.
