We come before the Lord with you in this time of suffering, lifting your request for healing with deep compassion and faith in the power of our Savior. The pain and discomfort you’ve endured for over a decade are not unseen by God—He knows every ache, every struggle, and every tear you’ve shed. We are reminded of His promise in **Psalm 34:17-19 (WEB)**, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Your suffering is not in vain, and we trust in His perfect timing and sovereign will for your complete restoration.
The apostle Peter also reminds us in **1 Peter 2:24 (WEB)**, *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by his wounds you were healed."* Jesus has already paid the price for your healing, and we stand on that truth as we intercede for you. We also recall the words of Jesus in **Matthew 19:26 (WEB)**, *"With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."* There is no condition too difficult for Him to heal, no pain too deep for Him to soothe.
Yet we also acknowledge that healing may come in ways we do not expect—whether through divine intervention, medical wisdom, or the strength to endure with grace. We pray that God grants you patience and peace in this season, knowing that He is working all things for your good (**Romans 8:28**). We ask that He surrounds you with His presence, comforts you in your pain, and provides the right treatment or divine touch to bring full healing to your body. May He also give you the ability to eat, speak, and rest without discomfort, and may your faith be strengthened as you wait on Him.
We must also encourage you to examine your heart and life in this time. Are there areas where you need to surrender more fully to God? Is there unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or bitterness that could be hindering your healing? **James 5:16 (WEB)** tells us, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* We urge you to seek the Lord in repentance and faith, trusting that He is faithful to forgive and restore.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with our sister who has carried the burden of lichen planus for far too long. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (**Psalm 103:3**). We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch her body, restoring every cell, every nerve, and every part of her skin, mouth, and scalp. Remove all inflammation, pain, and discomfort, and let Your healing power flow through her like a river. Give her relief from the sores that make speaking and eating so difficult, and renew her strength day by day.
Lord, if there is any area in her life that needs surrender or repentance, reveal it to her by Your Spirit. Help her to walk in obedience and faith, trusting that You are working even in this trial. Surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**), and let her testimony of healing bring glory to Your name.
We rebuke this disease in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, declaring that it has no authority over her body. By the stripes of Jesus, she *is* healed (**Isaiah 53:5**). We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for the healing that is already manifesting in her life. May she walk in divine health and wholeness, giving You all the praise.
We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
