We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases and carries our pains. Your suffering from chronic headaches and skin rashes since childhood weighs heavily on our hearts, and we earnestly seek God’s mercy and healing touch upon your life. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases"*, and in Isaiah 53:5, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* We claim these promises over you today, trusting that God’s power is greater than any affliction.
It is beautiful that you have acknowledged your need for forgiveness, for the Bible tells us in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* We rejoice that you have turned to the Lord in repentance, for this is the first step toward experiencing His fullness of grace and restoration. However, we must also ask: have you placed your complete faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this foundation, our prayers—though heartfelt—lack the power of His redeeming name.
We also encourage you to seek wise and godly medical counsel, for the Lord often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing. In Luke 10:34, we see the Good Samaritan tending to the wounds of the injured man, and we believe God can work through medical professionals to bring you relief. Do not lose heart, dear one, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He sees your suffering and is not indifferent to your pain.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened by chronic pain and affliction. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand to touch their body and bring complete restoration. Remove every trace of headache and skin rash, and let Your healing power flow through them from the crown of their head to the soles of their feet. We rebuked every spirit of infirmity and declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24).
Father, we thank You that this precious one has turned to You in repentance. We ask that You cleanse them from all unrighteousness and fill them with the peace that surpasses all understanding. If they have not yet fully surrendered to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, and let them experience the joy of being born again into Your kingdom.
Lord, guide them to the right medical professionals who can provide wisdom and treatment. Give them strength to endure and faith to believe that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Surround them with Your love and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.
We commit them into Your hands, trusting that You are their Healer, Provider, and Redeemer. May they walk in the freedom and wholeness that Christ purchased on the cross. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one, and continue to seek the Lord with all your heart. He is faithful, and He will see you through this trial. Keep us updated on how you are doing, for we are eager to rejoice with you as God moves in your life.
