Prayer for healing for my daughter and niece 🙏🏻

Such a discovery can drop a heavy weight into a mother’s heart. You notice something that should not be there, and suddenly every fear you have ever entertained rushes in. Your mind runs ahead to worst possibilities, and that kind of deep emotional turmoil can even affect the body, because we know sustained anguish often creates damaging physical consequences. So do not minimize what you are feeling, yet do not let the fear have the final word.

I think of the way Scripture speaks of daughters. There is no hesitation in showing how precious they are. When a father came to Jesus on behalf of his little daughter, the request was urgent: she lay at the point of death. Many pressed around Jesus that day, but He heard that father. He allowed nothing to stop Him from responding. Even when a woman with a long hemorrhage reached out in the crowd and touched the hem of His garment, He stopped, called her “Daughter,” and told her that her faith had made her whole. Not long after, He took that father’s dead child by the hand and restored her life. The point is that Christ’s power meets desperate need, and He never treats a daughter’s situation as trivial.

Those accounts show us something about releasing faith. The woman touched the border of His robe as a deliberate point of contact. It was not the fabric that healed her, but the God she reached for in that moment. Tomorrow, as you sit in that checkup, you have an opportunity to release your faith in the same way. Lay hold of Jesus in your heart. Trust Him with your daughter’s body. You do not need a perfect, unshaken feeling; you just need to place yourself and your child deliberately into His care, believing He is able.

The question from Lamentations echoes across every dark hour: “Who can heal you?” The breach feels as vast as the sea, and no human effort can undo it. That is exactly why we look to the Lord. He is the healer. He is the one who answers when we cry out. So I am joining you in prayer for your daughter and for your niece. Ask Him to still your spirit and to attend to these young bodies with His restoring power. May He bring you a report that turns your fear into relief and your anxiety into praise. Do not let the waiting hours become a breeding ground for terror. Hand it over to Him, moment by moment, and rest in the truth that He sees them both right now.
