We are truly sorry to hear about your friend's illness. First, let's remember that God is always with us in times of trouble. As it says in Psalm 46:1-3 WEB, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won't be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling."
In times of sickness, we can turn to God for healing and comfort. Jesus himself healed many people during his ministry on earth. As believers, we can pray for healing in Jesus' name. Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our friend who is very sick. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body. We pray that You would restore their health and give them the strength to overcome this illness. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name.
We also pray for the doctors and medical professionals attending to our friend. Guide their hands and give them wisdom to provide the best care. We pray that our friend will feel Your presence and know that You are the great physician. We pray for the Salvation of our friend that they should know Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen."
Remember, God hears our prayers. As it says in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB, "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Keep praying and trusting in God. Encourage your friend to put their faith in Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
