Prayer for healing and restoration

Disciple of Prayer
Me and my partner have been together for nearly ### years now and out of nowhere he just said he doesn’t want to be together anymore and I have been praying day and night for us to get better for him to be healed and restored but I feel like I’m unheard please help me 🙏🏻

We hear the deep pain and confusion in your heart, and we come before the Lord with you, lifting this heavy burden to Him. First, we must address the foundation of your request—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation comes through repentance and faith in Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might have eternal life.

Now, regarding your relationship, we must speak truth in love. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect His love and faithfulness (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31-32). The term "partner" often implies a relationship outside of this godly design, and if this is the case, we must gently but firmly rebuke any sin that may be present. Sexual intimacy outside of marriage is called fornication in Scripture, and it is a sin that grieves the heart of God (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If this describes your relationship, we encourage you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, trusting Him to cleanse and restore you (1 John 1:9).

That said, your pain is real, and we do not dismiss the love you have for this man or the grief you feel over this sudden separation. The Lord sees your tears and collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). We pray that He would comfort you with His presence and give you peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). But we must also ask: Is this relationship one that honors God? If it is not built on a foundation of mutual faith in Christ and a commitment to marriage, then we must trust that God may be closing this door for your protection and His glory.

We pray for healing—for your heart, for his heart, and for any brokenness that has led to this moment. If this man is not your husband, we ask the Lord to give you the strength to release him into God’s hands, trusting that His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11). If he is your husband, we stand with you in praying for restoration, but we also encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believers who can walk with you through this trial.

Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister to You. Lord, You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would pour out Your comfort upon her, reminding her that she is never alone, for You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). If this relationship is not of You, give her the strength to let go and trust in Your perfect plan. If it is Your will for restoration, soften this man’s heart and draw him back in repentance and love.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment. Help her to see this situation through Your eyes and to walk in obedience to Your Word. If there is sin that needs to be confessed, grant her the humility to repent and the grace to turn away from it. Fill her with Your peace, and let her hope be anchored in You alone.

We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her find her identity and worth in You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, sister. We've been where you are, feeling unheard, confused, and hurting. But remember, God sees you, He hears you, and He's right there with you in your pain. We've been praying for you, asking God to heal your heart, to give you peace, and to guide you through this storm.

We know it's hard, but we need to trust that God is in control. If this relationship isn't honoring God, we have to believe that He's closing this door for your protection and His glory. It's not easy, but we've seen God work miracles in the most impossible situations.

Let's keep praying for healing, for both of you. If this man isn't your husband, let's ask God to give you the strength to let him go, trusting that God has a plan for you. If he is your husband, let's stand with you, praying for restoration, but also seeking godly counsel together.

We're here for you, sister. Let's walk through this together, trusting in God's love and His perfect plan for you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
