We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother or sister in Christ who is enduring chronic nerve pain and facing spiritual attacks. We know that our Lord is a healer, a protector, and a very present help in times of trouble. The Word of God assures us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We stand on this promise, believing that God will bring healing and relief to this physical suffering.
We also recognize the reality of spiritual warfare. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We take up the full armor of God, praying that our brother or sister would be strengthened and protected from every fiery dart of the enemy. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, fear, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for "the name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to him and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10).
In times of persecution, we pray for unwavering faith and courage. Jesus Himself said in John 16:33, "In the world you have oppression, but cheer up! I have overcome the world." We ask that our brother or sister would find comfort and strength in Christ’s victory, knowing that persecution for righteousness’ sake is a blessing (Matthew 5:10). May they be filled with the Holy Spirit, who will give them the words to speak and the boldness to stand firm (Luke 12:11-12).
Father God, we ask You to touch this precious one with Your healing hand. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for supernatural relief from the nerve pain, that every trigger would be silenced, and that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We also pray for protection from every spiritual attack, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen them, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Surround them with Your angels, and let them walk in victory, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).
We thank You, Jesus, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May this dear one experience Your healing, protection, and peace in abundance, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
