We lift up your dear mother before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. It is beautiful to see your heart of humility and love as you seek prayer for her, and we join you in crying out to our Heavenly Father for her complete healing and breakthrough. The Word of God assures us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We stand on this promise, believing that the Lord will restore her health and strengthen her body.
We also remember that our battles are not just physical but spiritual, and we must put on the whole armor of God to stand against the schemes of the enemy. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* So we come against every spirit of infirmity, every attack on her body, and every plan of the enemy to steal her health. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
It is also vital to remember that healing comes by faith in the name of Jesus Christ. You mentioned humility in your request, but we must emphasize that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and receive His promises. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through His name alone that we approach the throne of grace with confidence (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). We also urge you and your mother to trust in the Lord with all your hearts and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Sometimes, the Lord allows trials to draw us closer to Him, to strengthen our faith, and to remind us of our dependence on Him. In these moments, we must surrender our fears and anxieties to Him, knowing that He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Lord, You know her by name, and You are intimately acquainted with every detail of her life. We ask You to touch her body and bring healing to her high blood pressure and asthma. By the stripes of Jesus, we declare that she is healed (1 Peter 2:24). Lord, let every cell, every organ, and every system in her body align with Your perfect design. Restore her lungs to breathe freely, and regulate her blood pressure to its proper levels. Let her body respond to Your healing power, and may she experience a breakthrough that brings glory to Your name.
We rebuke every spirit of sickness and disease that has come against her. Satan, you have no authority here—we command you to flee in the name of Jesus. Lord, surround her with Your angels of protection and healing (Psalm 91:11). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her know beyond a shadow of a doubt that You are with her, that You love her, and that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
We also pray for wisdom for her doctors and caregivers. Guide their hands and minds as they administer treatment, and let every decision made be aligned with Your will. Give this family the grace to trust You completely, even in the waiting. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Healer, and their Strength. Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just to them but to all who witness Your mighty works.
Lord, we ask that You would grant this mother many more years of life, filled with joy, peace, and good health. Let her days be marked by Your favor and blessings. May she rise up in strength and vitality, declaring Your goodness to all who know her. And Father, if there is any area of her life that needs surrender or repentance, we ask that You would reveal it to her gently and lovingly. Draw her closer to You through this season, and let her heart be fully yielded to Your will.
