We join with you in prayer and we hear your heart as you share that you are feeling a little empty and down and are seeking happiness, motivation, purpose, perfect health and wisdom. We know that God sees you in this season and He cares deeply for you.
True happiness and joy are not found in circumstances but in the presence of the Lord. Psalm 16:11 says You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. When we feel empty, God invites us to be filled with His Spirit and His joy. Psalm 42:11 reminds us Why are you in despair, my soul Why are you disturbed within me Hope in God For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence. We also remember that God has a purpose for your life. Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. And Ephesians 2:10 says For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them. You are not without purpose, you were created with intention by God for good works in Christ.
You asked for wisdom and we love that you asked for this, for God delights to give it. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. As you seek direction, trust in the Lord with all your heart as Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches, and He will direct your paths. For motivation and strength when you feel down, we cling to Isaiah 41:10 which says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Also Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
For health, we pray with you as 3 John 1:2 says Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. We know God is our healer as Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. While perfect health in this life is not always granted, we trust His perfect will and His ultimate healing and restoration.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why this is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus, we encourage you to believe in Him, that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through Jesus that our prayers are heard and our emptiness is filled with His presence and eternal hope.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You fill every empty place in their heart with Your joy, Your peace and Your presence. Restore happiness that comes from knowing You and grant renewed motivation and strength for each day. Reveal Your purpose for their life more clearly and guide their steps according to Your perfect will. Grant them wisdom liberally as they seek You, and help them to trust You with all their heart. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body and mind, and for perfect health according to Your will, and for Your peace to guard their heart. Draw them closer to Jesus, that they may know Him as Savior and Lord and find fullness of life in Him. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name. Amen.

Your prayer for happiness, motivation, purpose, perfect health and wisdom has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace.
To feel empty or down is a painful and common trial, and the Lord is tender toward the broken heart. There are several forms of a broken heart, and for a season the soul may endure much mental heaviness, but He who heals the broken in heart does so not with human eloquence or mortal wisdom, but with the still small voice of God which alone confers the peace which passes all understanding. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, yet the deeper healing is for the soul, and that healing is found in Christ.
You ask for wisdom, and true wisdom is not found in feeling that you have strength enough and wisdom enough within yourself to find your way. That way is the opposite of wisdom. The way of wisdom is the way of God, which is as far above our judgment as the heavens are above the earth. When the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who is given unto us, we get into a way of joy which is as far above all human joy as the path of the eagle soaring among the Alps is above that of the mole burrowing in the ground. Seek the Lord Himself, for Christ is made unto us wisdom, and in hearing His Word with care, faith comes and the joy of the Lord may come to you.
You ask for purpose and motivation. Be comforted by this, that in every event of Providence, God has a purpose, and He is in one mind. Not only a purpose, but only one purpose, for all history is but one, and what His soul desires, that He does. Your mind may change every day and your experience vary like the wind, but His purpose never changes and is sure to be effected. This is wisdom and this is joy for the believer, for you are not left to chance or disorder, but everything comes to you according to the purpose of His own will, and all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are the called according to His purpose. Your purpose, then, is found not in looking within, but in being called according to His purpose and walking in His way.
You ask for happiness and joy. The subject of joy is the joy of faith, the joy which is the fruit of the Spirit from the root of trust in God. It is pleasant to think about joy, but to be filled with joy and peace through believing is far more satisfying. He that has joy on his barn floor may see it bare, he that has joy in his wine vats may see them dry, but he that has joy in God has the quintessence of happiness, the essential oil of joy. There is no monotony in real joy. In living joy there is exhilaration, and it sings or keeps a blessed silence before the Lord. This joy holds court within its own metropolis when Christ dwells with us.
You ask for perfect health. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The least thing about Christ is healing. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon us with healing in His wings, pardon and healing are one. The Son of Man has power upon earth to forgive sin, and that is His mightiest art. We do not claim healing apart from His will, but we come to the great Physician where Calvary is the place for the healing balm. First forgiveness, then healing, for there must be a present conscious enjoyable pardon of sin, otherwise there would be no joy for thoughtful minds. When we go with our confession and find pardon, temporal chastisement is either removed or so changed in its purpose as to become quite another thing.
Let us pray for you.
O Lord our God, look upon this soul who feels empty and down and grant the comfort of Your presence. Forgive sin through the blood of Your Son Jesus Christ, who was exalted to be a Prince and a Saviour to give repentance and forgiveness of sins, and let pardon bring peace. Shed abroad Your love in this heart by the Holy Spirit, and give wisdom that comes from above, not from self. Establish this life according to Your one unchanging purpose, and give motivation to labor faithfully while You carry out Your will. Fill this heart with joy that is in You, joy that remains when earthly joys fail, and grant health according to Your perfect will, that whether in joy or sorrow all may point to You the Giver. Make Your Word the means of faith and healing as Christ is taught and trusted. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is the way of salvation and life. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Thank you for sharing your heart and asking for prayer. We have prayed for you and we continue to bring your requests before the Lord.
We hear that you are feeling empty and down, and that you are asking for happiness, motivation, purpose, perfect health and wisdom. God sees this heaviness and He invites you to bring it to Him. He does not want you to remain dull or weary in heart, but to be renewed and made whole in Christ.
We prayed that God will give you true wisdom. The wisdom of this world terminates here and cannot profit the soul, but God has made known to us the mystery of His will in Christ. True wisdom is not merely cleverness or worldly prudence, but knowing what is divine and what is human, learning to despise what is empty and to cling to what is eternal. We asked that He would make you wise in that true wisdom, that you would know His heart, His purposes for you, and the way of the cross where His love was shown most clearly. In that wisdom you will also find purpose, for He foreordained His people before the worlds unto glory, and He has work for you to do that flows from being His.
We prayed also for your health and for happiness. Scripture teaches that riches, health and outward glory are indifferent in themselves. God does care for the body and He would have us make provision for the flesh for health, not for indulgence, as one who seeks to be strong to serve Him. Yet the greater health He offers is wholeness of the whole person. As Christ made the whole man healthy, so He wants to heal not only the body in part but the entire person, heart, mind and soul. Perfect health in this life is not promised, but perfect wholeness will be ours in Him, and even now He can sustain, strengthen and comfort you. True happiness is not found in earthly enjoyment alone, which is like a dream that fades, but in seeking heavenly things, in virtue, in lowliness of mind, in mercy and in thankfulness to God in all things. The one who learns to consider this present life rightly and to set hope on Christ is not carried away by prosperity nor crushed by its absence.
So we prayed that the Lord Jesus Christ Himself would fill the emptiness you feel. He lifts up those who were without hope and brings them to abundance. May He grant you motivation not from fleeting feelings but from knowing you are His, loved, forgiven and called by His grace. May He give you daily purpose as you walk with Him, do good to others, and grow in the knowledge of Him. May He guard your body according to His wise care, and above all guard your soul in peace.
