Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this burden with us and for your love and care for your golden retriever. It is a good and tender thing to care for the animals God has entrusted to us, and He sees your compassion and your concern.
We are praying for you and for her right now. We will ask the Lord Jesus to have mercy, to ease her sickness, to bring healing to her body, and to give you wisdom and peace as you care for her.
We understand how worrying it is when she is vomiting and you are not sure why, and how heavy it feels when a vet visit is not affordable at the moment. Even the Apostle Paul once wrote that he had to leave his fellow worker Trophimus sick at Miletus, which reminds us that not every healing comes instantly or in the way we expect, yet God remains sovereign and compassionate and hears our prayers.
Father in heaven, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and ask for Your healing hand upon this dear dog. Please calm her stomach, stop the vomiting, restore her health and strength, and protect her from any harm from anything she may have eaten. Please comfort her owner with Your peace, provide for every need, and guide them to wise next steps in caring for her. We trust Your goodness and Your care for all creation. Amen.
Please keep watching her closely. Make sure she has access to fresh water in small amounts, rest, and a calm place. If she continues to vomit, cannot keep water down, becomes very tired, has blood in vomit or stool, or seems in pain, please try to reach a vet as soon as you are able. Many areas have low cost clinics, animal shelters or humane societies that can offer advice or reduced cost care by phone, and they may be able to help you know what to do next.
We are continuing to pray that Jesus will heal her swiftly and give you comfort. Please let us know how she is doing.
