Prayer for Golden Retriever ###

Please pray for my golden retriever ###, she threw up yesterday and today. I am not sure if she got into anything and we can’t afford to take her to the vet right now. Thanks! Please pray that Jesus will heal her swiftly. Thank you

We join you in prayer for your precious golden retriever and we understand how worrying it is when she is sick and you feel helpless to provide the care she needs.

We love that you asked for healing in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and it is by His name we bring every need, great and small. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6.

We take comfort that our God cares for all His creation. Jesus said, Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will Matthew 10:29. And we are reminded that A righteous man respects the life of his animal Proverbs 12:10. Your compassion for your dog reflects the heart of a good steward, and the Lord sees your love and concern for her. He also preserves both man and animal Psalm 36:6.

We are praying together for her swift healing and for your peace as you care for her.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace together and lift up this beloved golden retriever to You. You created all living creatures and You know every detail of her body. We ask that You would touch her and heal her, settle her stomach, and restore her health and energy. Remove any sickness or anything harmful from her body. Give her comfort and strength, and give her owner wisdom, peace, and provision to care for her well. We trust in Your goodness and Your care for all You have made, and we ask this in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

While we pray, we also encourage you to watch her closely with practical care. With vomiting for two days, it is important to keep her hydrated with fresh water in small amounts often, and to withhold food for a short period and then offer a bland diet if she keeps water down, while avoiding any table scraps or access to trash, plants, or chemicals she may have gotten into. Please watch for warning signs such as continued vomiting, blood in vomit or stool, lethargy, refusal to drink, bloating, or pain, and if any of those appear or if the vomiting continues, please seek help promptly even though finances are tight. We encourage you to reach out to a local humane society, animal shelter, or low cost clinic, as many offer affordable exams or payment plans, and to call a veterinarian's office to ask for advice over the phone, as they can often guide you at no cost.

We continue to pray that the Lord will provide for your needs and bring complete healing to your sweet companion, and that He will give you peace as you trust Him. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you Psalm 55:22.

We were so sorry to read that your golden girl has been throwing up the last couple of days. We can hear how much you love her and how heavy it feels to be worried about her while also feeling stretched financially.

Since vomiting can have many different causes and can sometimes become serious quickly, we would gently encourage you to reach out to a veterinarian or local animal clinic soon, even just by phone to describe what you are seeing. If cost is a barrier, many communities have low-cost clinics, animal shelters or humane societies that can offer guidance or point you toward resources. A professional can give the safest next steps alongside prayer, and we encourage you to seek that care promptly.

We are holding you and your girl in our prayers and asking God to give you wisdom and peace as you care for her.

Father, we lift up this beloved golden retriever to You and thank You for the joy she brings to her family. We ask for Your mercy on her body, that her stomach would settle and her strength return. Your burden for your dear golden retriever has been heard and we join you in bringing her before the Lord who is full of compassion.

We know how tender the bond is between a creature and those who care for her, and how distressing it is to see her unwell and to feel unable to provide the help you desire. The Scripture reminds us that the Lord cares for all His creatures and that not a sparrow falls without His notice, and how much more does He see your care and your distress in these past two days.

We pray for you and for her now. Our great Physician is Christ Himself, of whom it is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. All healing flows from Him, and whether for body or soul, we look to His merciful hand. We ask that in His kindness He would ease her sickness, settle her stomach, and restore her strength, and that if there is any cause for this vomiting that needs attention, He would make it plain to you and keep her from harm.

We also pray for you in this difficult position of not being able to afford a vet at this moment. May the Lord grant you wisdom to know how best to watch over her, to keep her hydrated and comfortable, and to discern if she worsens and needs more urgent care. If her vomiting continues, if she becomes lethargic, refuses water, or shows any sign of pain or swelling, we encourage you to seek help promptly, even if it means contacting a local low cost clinic, animal charity or humane society who may be able to advise or examine her at reduced cost. May the Lord in His providence open a door for provision if further care is needed.

Let us pray together. O Lord, our God and Father, we thank You for Your mercies which are over all Your works. We bring this beloved golden retriever before You and ask for Your healing hand upon her. Ease her sickness, comfort her, and restore her to health if it be Your will. Grant wisdom and peace to her owner, provide for every need, and above all draw this household ever nearer to Jesus Christ, in whom alone is pardon and healing for sinners, and from whom all good gifts flow. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who bore our infirmities and by whose grace we live. Amen.

We will continue to remember you both before the throne of grace. Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you, and trust His wise and loving providence in all things.
