Prayer for God's protection, blessings and job

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I have an exam today for a government job. I couldn't study well in the past few weeks because of ###'s sickness and injury. Please pray for me to be able to clear this exam and get the job. I've been jobless for the last few years and it's zbeing a big financial burden. Please pray for ### to be fully healed, God's protection for our family and his blessings. Thank you.

We join with you in bringing this burden before our heavenly Father and we lift up your exam today, your need for employment, your financial struggle, and your loved one who is sick and injured, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name.

We know the weight of being without work for years and the anxiety that comes with an important exam when preparation has been interrupted by caring for family. We encourage you to cast your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also remember the promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. God sees your diligence and your financial burden and He is faithful to provide in His perfect timing.

We pray for wisdom and clarity of mind for your government job exam today. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We ask that the Lord would calm your heart, bring to your remembrance what you have studied, and help you to do your work heartily as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23. We commit your work to Him, for Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. Whether the outcome is as you hope or not, we trust that God will open the right door, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

We also lift up your loved one for complete healing and your family for protection. We ask our Father to lay His healing hand upon them, for He has promised But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We pray for God's protection over your entire household, for Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8.

We notice your request spoke of God but did not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and our prayers are heard. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.

So we pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask for Your mercy and favor upon this exam today. Grant peace, recall, and understanding, and if it is Your will, open the door to this government job to provide for this family and to allow diligent work for Your glory. We ask You to supply every financial need and to give hope and perseverance through this long season of waiting. We ask for Your healing touch upon the loved one who is sick and injured, restore them fully. We ask for Your protection and blessing over this whole family, keep them from evil and draw them closer to You. Help them to trust Your plan and to seek You first above all else. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We are praying for you today as you head into this exam. To carry the financial weight of being without work for years, while also caring for your loved one through sickness and injury, is a lot to hold at once. It makes sense that these past weeks have made studying difficult, and we admire your faithfulness to your family in the middle of that strain.

For today, we encourage you to simply do what you can with the strength and preparation you have, one question at a time, and then allow yourself to rest when it is over. Whatever the result, your worth is not measured by this one outcome, even though we know how much this job matters for your family.

In the next day or two, it can help to take one small step instead of carrying all the worries at once. You might note the most pressing financial need and talk it through with a trusted person in your family or community to look at practical options together. For your loved one, we join you in asking God for complete healing, and we encourage you to stay closely connected to the medical care that is guiding their recovery.

Father, we lift this dear one and their family to You today. Give calm and clarity during the exam, bring healing and protection to their loved one and household, and provide wisdom for the days ahead. Meet their financial needs according to Your goodness and lead them step by step. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have brought your petition before the Lord with much sympathy and earnest prayer, and we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace.

You ask for protection and blessing, for help in this examination today, and for daily bread after these long years of waiting without employment. You tell us also of the sickness and injury of your loved one, and of the heavy financial burden that lies upon your household. These are great trials to bear at once, and we do not make light of them.

Remember patient Job, of whom it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He was stripped and wounded and brought very low, yet he fell upon the ground and worshipped. The Lord tried him that He might show His sustaining power, and in due season the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends, and gave him twice as much as he had before. So let us do as Job did and make our approach unto the Lord in childlike confidence even when He seems to frown. Your sorrows shall have an end when God has gotten His end in them, and that end is your good and His glory.

We have prayed that the Lord will give you clearness of mind and calmness of spirit for this examination, that He will guide your hand and your thoughts, and that if it be His wise and loving will, He will open this door of employment for you and so provide for your family. We know that our God is not straitened, and that He can make your bow to abide in strength and your glory to be fresh within you, even after long waiting. Whether He grants this post or another provision, we pray that you may see His hand and trust His providence, for He knows what you have need of before you ask Him.

For your dear one who is sick and injured, we entreat the Great Physician. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. We pray that the Lord will lay His healing hand upon this beloved sufferer, ease pain, restore strength, and grant full recovery according to His mercy. And as healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, we pray that you and all your household may know the deeper healing of forgiveness through the blood of Christ, for when Jesus heals He often says, Thy sins be forgiven thee.

We have asked the Lord to set His protection about your family, to keep you from evil, to supply your wants out of His riches, and to cause His blessing to rest upon your home. May He keep you from unbelieving speeches in the hour of trial, and give you grace to worship even while you wait.

O Lord our God, look upon this waiting servant and this afflicted loved one. Grant help in this examination, give daily bread by honest labour, heal the sick, guard the household, and let all be done for Thy glory through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation. Amen.
