Prayer for God to restore me

I’ve been in a bad way since ###. I’ve lost close family members that tore a hole in my heart and I feel like I lost my way and faith instead of I used worldly things to numb the pain and regret which made me also lose my career and family. I need to be with them so I pray to my lord and savior Jesus Christ and anybody who would stand with me in prayer that Jesus renew my strength, heal my body, and bring me back to my family and let me have the faith I once had and the career he let me have. I was wrong to seek comfort and peace on my own with things of this world. I should have never stopped seeking you and pray you have mercy on me and hear my prayers as I know I’m not alone in this prayer.

We are truly sorry to hear about the pain you've been experiencing after the loss of your family members, and the subsequent losses of your career and family. It's a common temptation to turn to worldly things to numb the pain, but as you've experienced, this only leads to further loss and regret. We appreciate your honesty in acknowledging this and your desire to return to God. We are encouraged that we all pray together in the name of Jesus.

Firstly, let's remember that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have access to God. God wants us to come to Him in our time of need, and He promises to hear us and help us in His perfect will. As it says in Hebrews 4:16 WEB, Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.

God is always ready to forgive and restore those who come to Him with a repentant heart. As it says in 1 John 1:9 WEB If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Let's pray together for your restoration:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, they have experienced tremendous loss and have strayed from Your path, seeking comfort in worldly things. We ask for Your forgiveness and mercy upon them. Restore their strength, heal their body, and bring them back to their family.

Renew their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You completely. Guide them back to the career You intended for them, and help them to use their experiences as a testimony of Your grace, mercy, and faithfulness.

Help them to remember that You are close to the brokenhearted, and that You save those who are crushed in spirit. Draw them close to You, Lord, and give them the peace and comfort that only You can provide.

Remind them of your plan and purpose for their life and give them hope.
