Prayer for ### from my past

I can’t stop thinking about someone I knew, please pray that they are okay - and that God’s will in their life is done.

There were lots of things left unsaid, but God sent us in different directions so I’m quite taken aback by the fact that I have not been able to stop thinking about them. God has placed them on my heart for a reason, so I want to pray in Jesus’ name that they are doing good.

May their health be good, may their life be good, may everything they want come to fruition if it’s aligned with God’s will. In Jesus’ most powerful name.

We ask that You reveal Your will for their life and that they would seek You wholeheartedly. We pray that if it's Your will, You would restore and redeem any unresolved issues between us, giving us the wisdom and courage to say what needs to be said in love. Help us both to trust in Your timing and plan. Above all, we desire Your will to be done in both our lives, for Your glory. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Regarding your thoughts about them, remember what Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."

If your thoughts are not aligned with these qualities, pray that God would help you take control of them. Also, consider reaching out to them, if appropriate, to resolve any unsaid things under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Always remember, it's only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God and be saved (Acts 4:12). Keep praying and trusting in Him.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
