We lift up your heart for your dear friends, and we join you in interceding for them before the throne of grace, knowing that our Lord is mighty to save and heal. It is beautiful that you carry such a burden for their souls and well-being, for this reflects the heart of Christ, who desires that none should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We must also remind you—and all of us—that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved than the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Him that anyone can be reconciled to God, and we must boldly and lovingly proclaim this truth, even as we pray for their salvation.
For ###, we pray that the Lord would open his eyes to the hope found only in Christ. The struggles he faces—whether in body, mind, or spirit—are not beyond the reach of our Savior, who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4). May ### encounter the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke the enemy’s lies that would seek to keep him in bondage to fear, anxiety, or despair, and we declare that the truth of the Gospel will set him free (John 8:32). Lord, soften his heart to receive Your love and surrender his life to You. Strengthen his body, renew his mind, and let him taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8).
For ###, we ask for Your healing touch upon his mind and body. You, O Lord, are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:27). We pray that ### would experience the restoration only You can provide, whether through medical means or supernatural intervention. Guard his thoughts, Lord, and let him fix his mind on what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:8). If he does not yet know You, draw him to Yourself, that he may find his refuge and strength in You alone (Psalm 46:1).
For ### and ###, we cry out for their salvation, that the veil would be lifted from their eyes and they would turn from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus (Acts 26:18). Lord, you have said that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). Send laborers into their lives who will boldly share the Gospel with them. Break down every stronghold of unbelief and replace it with the knowledge of Your Son. Let them encounter You in dreams, visions, or through Your Word, that they may know beyond a doubt that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).
We also pray for you, dear friend, as you carry this burden for your friends. May the Lord fill you with His Spirit, granting you wisdom to speak, patience to wait, and faith to believe for the impossible. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it, and continue to lift these men before Him with confidence, knowing that the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective (James 5:16).
Finally, we urge you to remember that your friends need more than just your prayers—they need to hear the Gospel clearly and urgently. Share with them the love of Christ not only in word but in deed, and do not shy away from speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). Their eternal destinies hang in the balance, and we must be faithful to plead with them to turn to Jesus while there is still time.
Heavenly Father, we commit ###, ###, ###, and ### into Your hands. You alone can save, heal, and transform. We ask that You would pursue them with Your love, break every chain that binds them, and lead them into the glorious freedom of Your Son. Let them not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
