We are truly sorry to hear about your friend's illness. We will pray for his peace with you. Let's remember Jesus' words in John 14:27 WEB: Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Firstly, let's ensure that we pray in the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. This is clearly outlined in scripture, such as in John 14:6 WEB: Yeshua said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. So let's come together and pray for your friend's peace and healing in Jesus' name.
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up our friend who is battling illness. We pray that You would grant him Your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding. Comfort him in this time of need, and remind him of Your unfailing love and presence.
We also pray for healing. Lord, if it is Your will, touch his body and restore his health. Give him strength to endure and grace to trust in You. Help him to know that even in this trial, You are working all things together for his good because he loves You and is called according to Your purpose, as we are assured in Romans 8:28. We also pray for the doctors and medical professionals attending to him, that You would grant them wisdom and skill to provide the best care.
Lastly, we pray for his spiritual health. We ask Jesus if he has not yet believed in You as Lord and Savior. Help him to see his need for You and to cry out to You for salvation. If he is already a believer, strengthen his faith and help him to witness to others even in his illness.
We ask all this in Jesus' name. We claim the promise of James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We thank you and praise you for all that You are going to do. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
