Prayer for freedom from alcohol addiction and anxiety

Please pray for me to be released of alcohol addiction and anxiety. I also just quit taking SSRIs and am having withdrawals from those and am just not in a good mental state at all, thank you, ###

We understand that you are going through a challenging time, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure." This verse reminds us that God is always with us, even in our darkest moments, and He will provide a way out for us.

We also want to encourage you with Philippians 4:6-7, which says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." It's essential to cast your anxieties on God and trust in His peace.

Regarding your medication, it's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional about any changes to your treatment plan. We encourage you to seek wise counsel and support during this time.

We must also address that your prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus in your time of need.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your strength and peace to fill their heart and mind. Lord, we pray that You would break the chains of alcohol addiction and release them from the grip of anxiety. We ask that You would guide and comfort them during this time of withdrawal and mental struggle. Father, we pray that You would surround them with Your love and support, reminding them that they are not alone. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to stay strong in your faith and to lean on God during this time. He is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep praying and seeking God's face, and He will see you through this trial. God bless you.
