Prayer For Forgiveness

I pray for forgiveness for something I said to someone when I was upset. I am sad about it and not sure if it was the right thing to do. Help them to forgive me and to know how much I really love them also help me to be more discerning and to hear YOUR voice instead of listening to people. Thank you.

Father God I stand in agreement with this daughter, my sister, to carefully choose words before speaking them into the atmosphere. I pray as she uses the language she will develop the discernment of the power of the spoken word as she dispatches her words for they will accomplish what they say. I speak to this situation right now in the name of Jesus, THE WORDS SPOKEN THAT HAVE PIERCE THE HEART OF THIS INDIVIDUAL HAS NOT SEVERED THEIR RELATIONSHIP, BUT OPENED A SPACE FOR THEM TO EXAMINE TOGETHER. I pray this examination will lead to a relationship established on the truth; sometimes the truth does hurt. Lord bless the reconciliation of this relationship in the name of Jesus, amen.
