Prayer For ### & For ###

I appreciate the responses to my prayer request submitted 12/6/12. It was concerning healing for my sweet 72 yr old wife. So far nothing has changed for the better, but please continue to pray. Who knows it may help. She continues to trust in God so I am asking on her behalf.

She has had Parkinson's for the past 14 yrs. For the past 6 yrs. it has steadily worsened to the point she can barely get around. She frequently loses her balance & has fallen & injured herself several times.

She has severe Osteoporosis & was told that if she breaks anything else it will be difficult to repair & heal. The last fall resulted in one crushed & one collapsed vertebra. There was nothing they could do but put her in a back brace until it healed as well as possible. But she remains in constant pain.

It is very hard on me to see her deteriorate physically & mentally. As I said I am submitting this request in her place because I no longer believe in a loving prayer-answering God. All I can see is a God with deaf ears & no compassion. I would give anything if I could believe but I cannot see anything loving about a God that would allow she & I both to suffer through so much for so long.

I know many will judge me & correct me for some of the things I just wrote, but you may feel the same as I do if you walked even 1 day in my shoes, not to mention walking the past 6 yrs in them. I am in poor physical condition myself and I am very worried about what will happen to her when I become physically unable to dress, bathe & be her 24 hr a day caregiver. But I will continue to do so as long as I can drag myself along.

Feeling sorry for myself? Yes I guess I am, but others in the same place as me may do the same. The stress is starting to affect my mind so I doubt if what I have written makes much sense but it was the best I could do. Please pray, even if I cannot believe maybe God will honor my wife's faith & yours.

Lord, we thank you that you for the blessings that you have given us. Help us to honor you in every part of our lives. We place this request at your throne. Please hear and reply according to your perfect will and timing. Grant us the peace to know that you are in control. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father above all, I pray that you release your comfort and peace over this whole situation. Lord I just ask you to reveal your love and existence to this man and wife. Lord I just ask that you would make yourself known to them. I also ask for a healing power to fill her body and that she would be completely restored, so that you would get the glory Lord, and that no one would ever be able to doubt your existence again. God really cares for you whether you feel it or not. He has been with you even though you feel you are talking to deaf ears. He may have used this as something that brought you back to him. They say no one's an atheist in foxhole in the war. Sometimes I think God brings situations to show people their need for him. So God I release your peace and holy spirit over this situation in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

I pray in agreement for the will of God to be done in this situation. You are a good God, a mighty God, an awesome God who can do above and beyond anything that we ask. Step in my Lord in Jesus name I prayn in agreement....AMEN!!
