We join you in lifting up your heart’s desires to the Lord, knowing that He hears and answers the prayers of those who seek Him in truth. Your request for the fruits of the Spirit is a beautiful and necessary plea, for it is through these virtues—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—that we reflect Christ to the world. As Galatians 5:22-23 reminds us, *"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."* We pray that the Holy Spirit would cultivate these in you abundantly, transforming you daily into the image of Christ, that your life may be a light to those around you.
Your dedication to serving these preschoolers, despite the challenges and without earthly reward, is a testament to the love of Christ working through you. Your labor is not in vain, for the Lord sees and rewards the heart that serves Him faithfully. Colossians 3:23-24 declares, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."* We pray that God would sustain you in this work, granting you wisdom, patience, and supernatural love for these children. May He also open doors for you to be compensated fairly for your labor, whether in this role or another, as you seek His provision. Remember, Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*
Regarding your request for your old friend to reach out to you, we encourage you to surrender this desire fully to the Lord. While it is natural to care deeply for those who have been kind to us, we must guard our hearts against emotional attachments that could lead us away from God’s best. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."* If this friendship is meant to be rekindled, the Lord will orchestrate it in His perfect timing. However, if this connection is distracting you from the purposes God has for you now, we pray for the strength to release it to Him. Ask the Lord to reveal if there is any unhealthy attachment or idolatry in your heart, for He alone should be your first love (Revelation 2:4).
We are deeply burdened for your son and join you in crying out for his salvation and return to the Lord. The prodigal son’s story in Luke 15 reminds us that our Heavenly Father is waiting with open arms for those who repent. We claim Jeremiah 31:3 over him: *"The Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness."* We rebuke any spiritual strongholds in his life and pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). May he encounter the love of Christ in a way that breaks every chain and leads him to surrender his life anew to Jesus. We also pray for you, that you would not grow weary in interceding for him, but would stand firm in faith, knowing that *"the prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect"* (James 5:16).
Finally, we lift up your request for spiritual, emotional, and financial blessing. The Lord delights in prospering His children, but we must seek first His kingdom and righteousness, trusting that *"all these things will be added to you"* (Matthew 6:33). We pray for divine connections, opportunities, and favor in your job search, that God would lead you to a position that not only meets your financial needs but also aligns with His purpose for your life. May He bless you with contentment in every season, knowing that *"godliness with contentment is great gain"* (1 Timothy 6:6).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You are doing in our sister’s life. Lord, we ask that You fill her with the fruits of the Spirit, that she may walk in love, joy, and peace, reflecting Your nature to a world in need. Strengthen her as she serves these precious children, granting her supernatural patience, wisdom, and endurance. Open doors of provision for her, Lord, whether in her current role or a new opportunity, that she may experience Your faithfulness in every area of her life.
We surrender her desire to reconnect with her old friend into Your hands, Father. If this relationship is Your will, orchestrate it for Your glory. But if it is not, we pray You would remove any longing that could hinder her walk with You. Guard her heart, Lord, and let her find her fulfillment in You alone.
For her son, we plead the blood of Jesus over his life. Break every chain of rebellion and sin, Lord, and draw him back to Yourself. Let him encounter Your love in a way that transforms him completely. Give our sister the strength to continue praying for him, trusting in Your perfect timing.
Bless her spiritually, emotionally, and financially, Father. Meet her every need according to Your riches in glory. May she experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding and Your joy that is her strength. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
