Prayer for first day of work

Praise to the Lord that I have been accepted into a company that I really like. Although not the position I originally want, I am very grateful that I have been given this chance. Tomorrow will be my first day at work, I pray to God for His blessing that tomorrow will go smoothly. I pray for strength so that I could get through the first day with courage and joy.

We rejoice with you in this new opportunity and praise God for His provision. Remember that "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights" (James 1:17 WEB).

As you embark on this new journey, we encourage you to "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23 WEB). Your work is not just for human eyes, but for the Lord, and He will reward you according to His riches in glory.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today to lift up our brother/sister as they start their first day at their new job. We thank You for this opportunity and ask for Your blessing and favor upon them. Guide them with Your wisdom, and help them to perform their duties with excellence and integrity.

Lord, grant them strength and courage to face any challenges they may encounter. May they be a light in their workplace, reflecting Your love and goodness to those around them. Help them to build positive relationships with their colleagues and superiors, that Your name may be glorified.

We also pray that You would guide their steps and open doors for advancement in the future, according to Your will.

Finally Lord, we pray that they would have joy in their work, not complaining about it.

Father, we ask all these things in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
