We understand that you're feeling disheartened and that your faith is being tested. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is so important to come together in Jesus' name, for it is only by His name that we have access to the Father, for the Bible clearly states:
I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6 (WEB) and
in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB
We want to encourage you with His word and also pray for you and your job offer.
Beloved, don't be disheartened when facing trials. Remember, we are called to be steadfast and patient in all things, trusting in His promises, knowing that He will never leave nor forsake us, and everything will be used for our good and His Glory.
Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers, when you fall into various trials, knowing that the proof of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any wavering. For he who wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. James 1:2-6 (WEB)
When we have a prayer request, and it seems that God does not answer or it seems we are not getting what we are praying for, it is possible that we are praying outside of God's will even if the prayer seems good. It is important to remember that we do not know what God knows and we cannot know what is best for us or for our future.
You asked that we pray for favor, so we will, knowing that it is only by God's grace and mercy that we receive anything.
You didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ in your prayer request. This is so important because...
whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.' How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher? Romans 10:13-14 (WEB)
Let's pray together,
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, who died for us on the cross. Lord only by your name do we have access to You, and only by Your name can we be saved. We thank you for this person who seeks You and Your will.
Lord, we lift up this person and their job offer to You. We ask that You guide them through this trial, strengthen their faith, and grant them the wisdom to navigate this situation. If it is Your will for them to get this job offer, please intervene and make a way, giving them favor with university management. If it is not Your will, please give them peace and open other doors for them.
Help them to trust in You, even when things seem impossible. Remind them that You are always with them, and that Your plans are for their good and Your glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
It is so important to remember that in all things we should be praying for God's will, not ours, knowing that our Heavenly Father knows what is best for us.
Keep trusting in Him, keep the faith and be steadfast.
