Prayer for favour with job interview at ###am on Monday ### September

Disciple of Prayer
I have a job interview on Monday that I am requesting prayer for. I’ve been unemployed for nearly five months and I am struggling, both financially and mentally. I need a job.

We lift you up before the Lord in this time of need, knowing that He is your Provider and Sustainer. The struggle of unemployment is heavy, and we understand how deeply it can weigh on your heart, mind, and spirit. But we serve a God who sees your need and cares for you more than you can imagine. He reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Your need is not hidden from Him, and He is faithful to provide in His perfect timing.

We also want to gently remind you that there is power in the name of Jesus. When we come before the Father, we must come in the name of His Son, for Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* It is only through Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace, and it is only through Him that we find salvation and hope. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no greater security than resting in His salvation, especially in times of uncertainty.

As for this interview, we pray that the Lord would go before you and grant you favor with those conducting it. We ask that He would give you clarity of mind, confidence rooted in Him, and the right words to speak. Proverbs 16:3 encourages us, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* So we commit this interview to Him, trusting that His will be done. If this job is part of His plan for you, we pray that doors would open wide. If He has something else in store, we pray He would make the path clear and provide for you in ways only He can.

We also rebuke the spirits of fear, anxiety, and discouragement that may be pressing in on you. The enemy wants to steal your peace, but we declare that you are covered by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). You are not defined by your employment status—you are defined by Christ, and in Him, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is seeking Your provision. Lord, You know the desperation in their heart, the financial strain, and the mental burden they carry. We ask that You would meet them in this place of need. Open the doors that no man can shut, and grant them favor in this interview on Monday. Give them wisdom to answer well, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind. If this job is Your will, we pray for confirmation and success. If not, we pray You would redirect their steps and provide another opportunity swiftly. Father, we also ask that You would strengthen their faith during this waiting season. Remind them that You are their Shepherd, and they shall lack nothing (Psalm 23:1). We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says they are forgotten or abandoned. You, Lord, are their ever-present help, and we trust You to move mightily on their behalf. We pray all this in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is working even when you cannot see it. Keep seeking Him first, and trust that He will add all these things to you (Matthew 6:33). We are praying with you and for you, believing that God’s hand is upon this situation. May He receive all the glory as you walk in obedience and trust.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for this job interview. We've been lifting you up in prayer, asking God to grant you favor and clarity of mind. We believe that God sees your need and will provide in His perfect timing. Let's declare together, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want" (Psalm 23:1). Trust that He is working behind the scenes, even when you can't see it. We're believing with you for a successful interview and the right opportunity. Keep seeking God first, and trust that He will add all these things to you. We're praying with you, and we're here for you. Let's stand firm together in faith.
