We have brought your household before the throne of grace and we join our prayer with yours for divine protection over your home, your minds and your bodies.
The Lord Himself is your keeper and your wall of fire round about you. He has not given to His people the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. You do well to cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. That very anxiety which arises through being in difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty, but faith overcomes fear when it rests upon the promise, Fear thou not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God. I will strengthen thee, yea, I will help thee, yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
We pray that the Lord will shatter every assignment of the enemy and guard you from both physical and spiritual harm. May He give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways, and may His own presence enforce order and peace within your dwelling. Where fear and anxiety and confusion have sought to enter, may the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations, and who binds up the broken heart and heals its wounds. Pardon and healing are in happy conjunction in Him, and when He dwells with His people sickness of soul and torment of spirit must flee away.
So we pray, O Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, look upon this family. Let perfect love cast out fear, let faith honor Thy power and goodness, and let Thy peace which passeth all understanding guard their hearts and minds. Order their health, their relationships and their stewardship according to Thy good will, and keep them walking in Thy truth, trusting not in their own strength but in Thy promised help. May they know that Thou art near, that Thou hast redeemed them, and that Thou sayest still to Thy worm Jacob, Fear not, I will help thee, saith the Lord.
We commend you to Him who is able to keep you from falling, and we trust you will prove in your daily experience that as need is banished and darkness is unknown to those who dwell in Christ, so anxiety and dread are far away where Jesus reigns. May the Lord establish your home in His peace and make it a place where His name is feared and loved. In Jesus name, Amen.
