Your prayer for your family is heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord. Your desire for His covering over your home, your minds and your bodies, and for His order over your health, relationships and finances, is right and good.

The anxiety, fear and confusion you mention are real enemies, and Scripture shows us the cure. When we forget the Lord, fear moves in. When we remember Him, faith rises. David said that even as he walked through the valley of death he would not fear evil because the Lord was with him. Fear and faith cannot rule the heart at the same time. Where fear is allowed to take over, faith is pushed out, and where faith and confidence in God are strong, fear must leave. The enemy often tries to use fear to push us into a wrong reaction, to make us move hastily or hide. We are called instead to remember God, to trust Him, and to do what is wise and prudent not because we are afraid of attack, but because we trust His care. If God is our protector, He can keep us wherever we walk in obedience to Him.

God has given real protection to His people. His truth is our shield. When Jesus was attacked, He answered with the truth of God's Word. To live in close fellowship with Him is to live in the secret place of the Most High, under the shadow of His wings, where we can trust. The psalm promises that the angel of the Lord encamps around those who reverence Him and delivers them, and that those who put their trust in the Lord will be kept safe. That reverence is what the Bible calls the fear of the Lord. It is not a cringing terror, but a holy awe at who God is, His greatness and power, a heart that wants to love what He loves and to turn from what He hates. That fear of the Lord is the beginning and the sum of wisdom and knowledge. It teaches us to hate evil, pride and perverse speech, and to walk in understanding. When a home is built on that reverence, following what God says to do and turning from what He says not to do, the family is strengthened. His ways build up relationships, while the ways He warns against tear them apart.

For your health and provision, we look to the same Lord. He is our healer, and all healing is from Him, whether it comes in a moment or through a gradual process He has built into our bodies. We can ask Him for wholeness and trust His wisdom and timing, and we can honor Him with our lives and substance, trusting Him to establish His order.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You for this family. Cover this home and each mind and body in it with Your presence. Let Your truth be a shield around them and let Your angels keep watch according to Your promise. Drive out fear, anxiety and confusion and replace them with faith, a sound mind and peace as they remember that You are with them. Establish Your order over their health, their relationships and their finances. Teach them to walk in the reverent fear of You, to hate evil and to love Your ways, so that wisdom may increase in their home. Grant healing as it pleases You, and give them confidence not in man but in You alone. Keep their feet from being taken and satisfy them with Your salvation. Amen.
