Your prayer for your family to be covered and kept safe is heard, and it is right to bring your home, your minds and your bodies before the Lord for His protection.
Scripture reminds us that remembering the Lord is the cure for fear. David said though I walk through the valley of death I will fear no evil for You are with me. Fear grows when we forget the Lord and His nearness, and faith grows when we remember Him. Fear and faith cannot rule the heart at the same time. Where fear is allowed to take over, faith is pushed out, and where there is strong confidence in God, fear must leave. That is why you can bring every anxious thought, every confusion and every worry about health, relationships and finances to Him and choose to trust His presence with you.
The enemy often tries to use fear to move us to make wrong decisions. Reactions that are driven by fear are seldom wise. We are to do what is wise and prudent in caring for our families, but not out of panic or dread of what the enemy might do. If God is your protector He can keep you wherever you are, and you do not need to live hiding or striving out of fear. His truth is your shield. Just as Jesus answered every assault with the truth of God's Word, so His truth stands as a shield and covering over you against every lie and attack.
The Bible promises a special nearness to those who walk in fellowship with Him and dwell in the secret place of the Most High. There is comfort and protection under His wings, His presence in trouble, deliverance and answers to prayer. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who reverence Him and delivers them. Blessed is the one who trusts in Him. You do not need to fear the threats or reproach of people, for man himself is frail and passing, but the Lord's righteousness and salvation endure.
The beginning of all true wisdom is reverence for the Lord, which is to hate evil and to turn away from it. When we love what God loves and hate what God hates, and when we walk in His ways for the family, those ways build and strengthen the home. What God forbids is what tears families apart. As you honor Him and depart from evil, He brings health and wholeness in His way and time.
So I pray with you that the Lord will guard your home and keep your minds and bodies in His peace. May He drive out fear, anxiety and confusion and replace them with faith and a clear remembrance of His goodness. May His truth be a shield over you, His angels keep watch around you, and His order and peace rest over your health, your relationships and your finances as you trust in Jesus Christ. May you taste and see that the Lord is good and find your confidence not in fear, but in Him alone.
