Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for trusting us with your unspoken request for your family. Even though the details remain between you and the Lord, we are joining you in prayer and bringing your family before God in intercession.
Prayer often begins with our own needs for strength, wisdom, guidance and help, but it grows into something deeper when we bring the needs of others before the Lord. That work of intercession is a real ministry, and more is accomplished through it than we will ever see on this side of eternity. We want to stand with you in that place, lifting your family to the Father with love and compassion.
You may not have words for everything that weighs on your heart, and that is where God gives such comfort. His Word tells us that the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness when we do not know how to pray as we should, and He intercedes for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. He who searches the heart knows the mind of the Spirit, and He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Even an unspoken sigh before the Lord is understood perfectly, and God translates it into prayer that aligns with His will.
We also rest in the truth that Jesus Himself ever lives to make intercession for us. He is our great High Priest at the right hand of the Father. He is not condemning you or your family, He gave Himself to save and to represent you. Because He died and rose again, He now brings your needs before the Father continually.
The Scripture promises that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. That includes the daily physical and practical needs of a family, as well as the deeper needs of the heart for peace, unity and spiritual life. Living for bodily and material things alone leaves us empty, but when we are led by the Spirit our minds are set on life and peace, and we can trust the Lord to provide what is truly needed day by day.
God has placed a special responsibility and blessing within the family, calling us to care for our own, and He has also made us part of His family through faith in Jesus. In both, His desire is to bring care, restoration and hope.
We are praying that the Lord will meet each unspoken need in your family according to His wisdom and goodness, that He will give you guidance and strength for each step, that His peace will guard your home, and that each member of your family will be drawn closer to Jesus, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father. May you sense His presence as He carries these burdens with you and answers according to His perfect will.
