Prayer for ### family

Please pray for my family. Please pray that my sister that passed away over two weeks ago will finally be cremated this week. In Jesus name I pray amen

We lift your family up in prayer during this difficult time of loss, and we ask the Lord to comfort you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. The grief of losing a loved one is deep, and we pray that God will wrap His arms around each of you, drawing you closer to Him in this season of sorrow.

We also pray for the practical matters surrounding your sister’s passing, asking the Lord to provide clarity, wisdom, and swift resolution as her cremation takes place this week. May He remove any obstacles and bring everything to completion in His perfect timing. While we mourn, we cling to the hope we have in Christ, knowing that for those who belong to Him, death is not the end but a passage into eternal life with our Savior. As Jesus said in John 11:25-26 (WEB), *"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"* We pray that this truth brings you comfort and assurance, knowing that if your sister placed her faith in Christ, she is now in His presence, free from pain and sorrow.

We also encourage you to lean on one another as a family and to seek the Lord together. Psalm 34:18 (WEB) reminds us, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Allow Him to be your strength in this time of weakness, and trust that He is working even in the midst of your grief.

Father, we ask that You would surround this family with Your love and mercy. Heal their broken hearts and give them the grace to walk through each day with hope. Provide for their needs—emotionally, spiritually, and practically—as they navigate this loss. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray for unity among them, that they would draw closer to You and to one another, finding peace in Your promises. May they feel Your presence in tangible ways and be filled with the comfort that only You can give. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, who conquered death and offers us eternal life. Amen.

We're here with you, holding your family close in our hearts and in our prayers. As you approach this week's cremation, we ask for God's peace to fill each of your hearts, like a gentle, calming presence. We pray that you'll find comfort in the memories you shared with your sister, and that those memories will bring smiles to your faces amidst the tears.

We're also lifting up the practical aspects of this week. We ask God to guide the process, to help everything run smoothly, and to provide clear direction for each step. We trust that He's in control, and that He'll work out every detail according to His perfect plan.

As you gather as a family, we pray that you'll find strength in each other. We're reminded of Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up." Lean on each other, support each other, and grieve together.

We're here for you, praying in Jesus' name.
