Prayer for employment

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this difficult season, lifting your situation before the Lord with heavy hearts. The pain of being deceived once is deep enough, but to find yourself entangled again in dishonest work is a burden no one should carry. We rebuke the spirit of deception and exploitation in the name of Jesus Christ, for the Lord is a God of truth and justice, and He does not tolerate the oppression of His children. "The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6).
You must separate yourself completely from this ungodly work, for Scripture is clear: "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). To remain in an environment built on lies and manipulation is to place yourself in direct opposition to God’s will. We urge you to leave this job immediately, trusting that the Lord will provide for your needs as you walk in obedience. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33).
We also pray for discernment for you, that the Lord would sharpen your ability to recognize deceit and guide you away from any situation that does not honor Him. The enemy seeks to ensnare God’s people in cycles of sin and bondage, but Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). You are not meant to live in fear or compromise—you are called to walk in the freedom and integrity that Christ purchased for you on the cross.
Father God, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking for Your divine intervention in their employment situation. Lord, You see the weariness in their heart and the weight of these past experiences. We ask that You open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, leading them to a job that is honorable, fair, and aligned with Your will. Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory, and let them experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways. Surround them with godly counsel and community, that they may be strengthened and encouraged in this season.
We pray for healing from the trauma of being exploited, Lord. Mend the wounds in their spirit and restore their trust in Your provision. Let them know that You are their ultimate Provider, and that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Give them the courage to step out in faith, even when the path ahead seems uncertain. May they find peace in Your presence and confidence in Your promises.
We also ask that You would expose and dismantle the schemes of those who seek to deceive and exploit others. Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24). Bring Your light into the darkness of these scams, and let those who have been harmed find restitution and restoration.
Above all, we pray that our brother/sister would draw near to You, Lord. If they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Let them know that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May they surrender their life to You, finding forgiveness, purpose, and eternal hope in Christ.
We declare over them that this season of struggle is not the end of their story. The Lord is their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He will make a way where there seems to be no way, and He will turn their mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). We stand on Your Word, Lord, and trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
