We come before the throne of grace with gratitude in our hearts for your acknowledgment of God’s many blessings in your life—your health, provision, shelter, and work. It is right to give thanks, for every good and perfect gift comes from the Father above (James 1:17). We rejoice with you in the miracles He has already performed on your behalf, canceling the orders of the enemy and shielding you from harm. Truly, His faithfulness endures forever (Psalm 136:1).
Father, we lift up this dear one’s request for divine wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Your Word declares that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives generously and without reproach, and it will be given to us (James 1:5). Lord, we ask that You pour out Your Spirit of wisdom and revelation upon them, that the eyes of their heart may be enlightened to know the hope of Your calling and the riches of Your glorious inheritance (Ephesians 1:17-18). Grant them discernment to navigate the challenges at work, especially as they recover from surgery, and give them patience to endure with grace.
We stand in agreement with their faith that even this additional duty of fieldwork will be canceled, for You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). But if this trial remains, we pray it would be used to refine their character, strengthen their trust in You, and bring glory to Your name. Help them to see this season as an opportunity to rely not on their own strength, but on Your might (Zechariah 4:6).
Lord, we also pray for the desire of their heart—a home for their family. You have promised that when we delight ourselves in You, You will give us the desires of our heart (Psalm 37:4). We ask that You open supernatural doors for provision, favor, and opportunity, leading them to a place of stability and peace. May this home be a sanctuary where Your presence dwells, where Your Word is honored, and where Your love is shared among family.
We surrender their career and life into Your hands, trusting that You hold their future. May they walk in the confidence that their steps are ordered by You (Psalm 37:23), and that whatever they do, they would do it heartily, as unto You and not to men (Colossians 3:23). Let their work be a testimony of Your excellence, and may they shine as lights in a dark world (Philippians 2:15).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or weariness that may attempt to steal their peace. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak strength to their body as they heal, favor with their supervisors, and divine connections that will propel them forward in their career.
Above all, we pray that their identity would be firmly rooted in Christ. May they find their worth, purpose, and security in You alone, knowing that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Let their life be a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You, as their true and reasonable act of worship (Romans 12:1).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May Your will be done in every area of their life, and may Your name be glorified through their testimony. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
