Prayer For Direction ~

I need direction in the area of my marriage...the Lord has brought us back together to talk, and to agree that we both want to get back together. But we need to go to counseling. We have to make a decision about counseling. There are two different options, and I am praying for wisdom in which one to go with. Also, my spouse and I are considering getting back together, him coming home for good, soon. But we have been counseled recently that posssibly we should take a little more time before that happens...such as taking the month of April for no contact with each other, but pray and seek God, continue to do what God has called us both to do separately. I am caring for my Mother, with Alzheimers. He is working and staying with his Mom that is elderly. And although he has come home to stay off and on since the day he decided to leave, and we do know that God is at work, still don't know what the right decision is. A long story, but please just pray that the Lord will guide to the right decisions concerning all this. I am so thankful for the work the Lord is doing in our marriage, and our lives!!!

God has helped me through the beginning of this, when my heart was so broken. And I have seen a huge change in my husband's attitude. He went from being "through with this marriage" and not wanting to serve God, to wanting to return to the marriage, and willing to pray with me about it. He has come to two church services with me too. There's a lot more details but God knows all about them. I appreciate you all praying....more than you know! Our children, (grown, in their 20's) are telling me not to rush it , cause they don't want us to go through the same thing as before. They don't want us to move back in together, until we have gotten into counseling and get grounded.

I was listening to a Christian radio talk show this weekend and the advice that was given to one couple that called in was to get with a christian counseler. The reason given was other couselers wont help becuase they just diagnos (spelling) and keep you focused on your faults.. but Christian couselers will help fix the problem. *not my words* just passing along what i heard.. God Bless

Let’s Pray…God I ask in Jesus’ name teach me, bless me, protect me, and encourage me. God teach me Your Word. Let Your Word dwell within my richly. Teach Me Lord Jesus. Teach me how to keep my focus on You regardless of the circumstances or situation I may find myself in. Teach me how to enjoy and celebrate life the way You intended life to be enjoyed and celebrated. Bless me Lord Jesus. Bless me with the spirit of Joshua as in the book of Joshua. Protect me from all hurt, harm, and danger. Protect me as You protected Joshua. Encourage me Lord Jesus. Encourage my heart daily. Supply all my need and bless me with the desires of my heart that is the will of God for my life. Let my God given goals and dreams come to reality. Fulfill upon this earth Your plan for my life. Deliver me from me if you have to. Make me want what You want for my life because I want what You want God for my life. God please make this happen. Lord Jesus please do this for me, all those I love, care about, those who love and care about me, and the writer of this prayer. Do this for us all Lord Jesus.

Romans 8:38-41…(NKJV) For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:31…(NKJV) What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
