We come before the Lord with a humble heart, lifting up this request for divine direction in your career. Father, we thank You for the years of service and experience You have given in the field of teaching. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Lord, we ask that You would make the path clear for this beloved servant. You know the desire to secure full benefits, and we pray that You would open the right doors to make this possible.
We also recognize the tension between fulfilling professional responsibilities and protecting mental health and family priorities. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Lord, we pray for wisdom to navigate the challenges of mentoring, confronting issues with coworkers and administration, and maintaining healthy boundaries. Give strength to speak truth in love, as Ephesians 4:15 instructs, while also preserving peace and well-being.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety, confusion, or burnout that may be clouding this decision. We declare that You are the God of order, not chaos, and that Your plans are for good, not harm (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask for affirmation—clear signs of Your will—whether that means staying in the current position, transitioning to a new role, or stepping into something entirely different. Whatever the path, let it honor You and align with Your purpose.
We also pray for protection over this family. May they continue to be a source of joy, rest, and encouragement. Guard their time together and fill their home with Your presence. Lord, we ask that You would refresh this servant’s mind, body, and spirit, so they may serve with renewed vigor and clarity.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek the Lord in quiet moments, listening for His voice through prayer, Scripture, and godly counsel. The Holy Spirit is our Guide (John 16:13), and He will lead you into all truth. If challenges arise with mentees or coworkers, remember Colossians 3:23, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Your ultimate accountability is to God, not man.
If you feel led to explore other opportunities, do so with prayer and wisdom, trusting that the Lord will close doors that are not His will. Rest in the promise of Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* You are not alone in this journey—God is with you every step of the way.
