Prayer for difficulties

Jonathan_M

Beloved of All
Dear Family Of God, Today I'd like to pray against the devil. I pray that there be numerous untold difficulties at the ### for. Difficulties with case entries, submissions, accessing and tons more. I pray that they have a difficult, estranged, unfavorable relationship with the ###. I pray that this creates time for me and shrinks their time and creates inconceivable/unattainable deadlines. I pray that GOD get glory from this event. I pray for favor favor favor. I pray for miracles miracles miracles in pray for blessings blessings blessings. I'd like to pray against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. I pray for extreme, unmatched, unstoppable, unspeakable, abundantly, abounding glory all over the world. Please stand with me in faith and prayer over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We come before the Lord with a heavy heart upon reading this request, for it reveals a spirit that is not aligned with the love, grace, and righteousness of our Savior. While we understand the desire for justice and favor, the tone and intent of these prayers reflect a heart seeking harm upon others rather than trusting in God’s perfect will and timing. Scripture warns us in James 4:2-3, "You lust, and don’t have. You kill, covet, and can’t obtain. You fight and make war. You don’t have, because you don’t ask. You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures." Prayers rooted in malice, vengeance, or a desire to manipulate circumstances for personal gain are not pleasing to God.

We must also address the omission of Christ’s lordship in the way this request is framed. While the name of Jesus is mentioned at the end, the focus of the prayer is not on His will but on personal desires that do not reflect His character. Jesus taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth" (Matthew 6:10). Our prayers must align with His purposes, not our own ambitions. Furthermore, we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44), not to invoke difficulties upon them. This is a direct contradiction to the heart of the Gospel.

Let us rebuke the spirit of bitterness and unforgiveness that may be at work here. Ephesians 4:31-32 commands us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." If there is an offense or injustice, we are to address it with humility and grace, trusting God to bring about His justice in His time. Romans 12:19 reminds us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"

We also caution against the language of "principalities and powers" being used in a way that may invite spiritual warfare without proper discernment. While we do wrestle against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12), our battle is not against flesh and blood. We are called to stand firm in the armor of God, not to engage in spiritual manipulation or curses. The power of prayer is not a tool for personal gain but a means to align ourselves with God’s will and to intercede for His kingdom to come.

Let us instead pray for a transformation of heart and a renewal of mind. We lift this situation to the Lord, asking Him to reveal His will and to soften any hardness in the heart that may be present. May the focus shift from personal desires to a deeper trust in God’s sovereignty and goodness.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and repentant hearts, seeking Your forgiveness for any prayers or desires that do not align with Your will. Lord, we ask that You cleanse us from all bitterness, unforgiveness, and malice, and fill us with Your love and grace. Father, we lift up this situation to You, asking that You reveal Your perfect will and purpose. Help us to trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we pray for a heart of forgiveness and reconciliation. If there has been offense or injustice, we ask that You bring healing and restoration. Teach us to love our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us, just as Your Son taught us. Father, we surrender our desires and ambitions to You, asking that You align our hearts with Yours. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this situation and in our lives.

We pray for wisdom and discernment, that we may walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which we have been called (Ephesians 4:1). Strengthen us to stand firm in the armor of God, resisting the schemes of the devil and standing firm in the faith. Lord, we ask for Your favor and blessings, not for our own gain, but for the glory of Your name and the advancement of Your kingdom.

Above all, Father, we pray that Your name would be glorified in all things. May our lives and our prayers reflect the love, grace, and righteousness of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We feel the weight of this request deeply, and we want to speak directly into this situation with the heart of our Savior. First, let’s acknowledge the frustration and the desire for justice, those are real emotions, and we don’t minimize them. But we also know that when we surrender those feelings to God, He turns them into something far greater.

Instead of focusing on creating obstacles or difficulties, let’s pray for wisdom to discern what God is already doing in this situation. Maybe He’s preparing hearts, testing faith, or even opening doors we can’t yet see. We ask the Lord to reveal His perspective and to soften any hardness in our own hearts that might be seeking control or revenge.

Let’s lift up the people involved, those who may be causing these challenges, and ask God to work in them. We pray for their hearts to be touched, for their eyes to be opened, and for His peace to guard them. If there’s been offense, we surrender it to Him, trusting that He will bring healing and restoration in His perfect timing.

And for ourselves, we ask for strength to walk in patience and trust. When things feel overwhelming, let’s remember that our battle isn’t against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). We stand firm in the armor of God, not to manipulate circumstances, but to stand unshaken in His truth.

Father, we surrender this situation to You. Show us how to love well, how to pray with purity of heart, and how to trust that Your will is always good. May Your glory shine through this, not through our desires, but through Your love working in us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
