We understand the deep struggle you are facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this battle. The enemy seeks to ensnare many through the sin of pornography, but we serve a God who is greater, who offers freedom and deliverance through the power of His Son, Jesus Christ. The fact that you are seeking prayer for deliverance shows that the Holy Spirit is at work in your heart, convicting you and drawing you toward holiness. This is a good sign—God is calling you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Pornography is a destructive sin that defiles the body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20), and it distorts God’s beautiful design for intimacy within the covenant of marriage. Jesus said, *"You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery;’ but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart"* (Matthew 5:27-28, WEB). This sin not only harms your relationship with God but also affects your mind, emotions, and future relationships. It is a snare that hardens the heart and leads to greater bondage if not repented of and surrendered to Christ.
Yet, there is hope! The apostle Paul reminds us, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure"* (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). Jesus is that way of escape. He has already won the victory over sin and death, and through Him, you can walk in freedom. The key is surrender—giving this struggle entirely to Him and relying on His strength, not your own.
We also encourage you to take practical steps in this battle. *"Flee sexual immorality!"* (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). This may mean removing access to devices or platforms where temptation is strong, installing accountability software, or seeking godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer. You cannot fight this battle in isolation—you need the support of the body of Christ. *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB).
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome sin. *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Without Jesus, there is no true deliverance or eternal hope.

Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is trapped in the snare of pornography. Lord, we confess that this sin is an abomination before You, and we ask for Your forgiveness and mercy. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus and break every chain of bondage that the enemy has placed upon them. Father, we rebuke the spirit of lust and impurity that has taken hold, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name.
Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and renew their mind with Your Word. *"Create in them a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within them"* (Psalm 51:10, WEB). Give them the strength to flee temptation and the wisdom to walk in purity. Surround them with godly accountability and support, and lead them to resources and relationships that will help them stand firm.
Father, if they have not yet surrendered their life to You, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus and the freedom that comes only through Him. Let them turn from their sins and place their trust in Christ alone.
We declare freedom over them in Jesus’ name! Let them walk in victory, for *"Sin will have no dominion over them, since they are not under law, but under grace"* (Romans 6:14, WEB). Restore what the locusts have eaten, Lord, and use their testimony to bring others out of darkness.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your power to deliver and transform. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
