Prayer for Deliverance and Strength

We hear your cry for deliverance and strength, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of grace. The spiritual battles you face are real, and we know that our adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we take heart, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
First, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome spiritual oppression. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10).
Now, let us pray together for your deliverance and strength:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is crying out for deliverance from spiritual oppression. Lord, we ask that You break every chain and shatter every stronghold that the enemy has established. Your Word declares that whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). We claim that freedom in Jesus' name.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of oppression and command it to flee in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, their heart, and their spirit.
Lord, grant them the strength they need for this day. Your Word promises that those who wait on You shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). We ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who gives power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we pray for focus and peace. In a world full of distractions and turmoil, help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We also pray for discernment and wisdom. Your Word tells us that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to us (James 1:5). Grant them the wisdom to recognize the enemy's schemes and the discernment to walk in Your truth.
Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your angels, who are ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14). Let Your presence be a shield around them, and let Your light dispel every darkness.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your promise that the righteous cry out, and You hear, and deliver them out of all their troubles (Psalm 34:17). We declare that this is a day of victory and breakthrough in Jesus' name.
To our brother/sister seeking deliverance, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Remember that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).
Continue to seek the Lord through prayer and reading His Word. The psalmist declares, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Psalm 119:105). Let the Word of God be your guide and your comfort. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage you and pray with you. And do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you shall reap if you do not lose heart (Galatians 6:9).
Lastly, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or unbelief that may be trying to take root in your heart. The Bible tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand on the promises of God and declare His truth over your life. You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37).

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to stand with you in prayer during this time of spiritual struggle. It has been our privilege to lift your request before the Lord, asking Him to break every chain of oppression, to fill you with His unshakable strength, and to grant you the focus and peace that only He can provide. We have prayed fervently that the Holy Spirit would surround you, shield you, and empower you to walk in the freedom Christ has already won for you.
