We stand with you in this time of spiritual battle, lifting you up before the Lord, for it is written, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour"* (1 Peter 5:8, WEB). The oppression you feel is real, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not alone in this fight, for the Lord is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Yet we must also ask: in whose name do you seek this deliverance? The Scriptures declare there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved than the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is only through His name that we have authority over the enemy and access to the Father’s throne of grace.
Let us pray for you now with boldness in the name of Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is under spiritual attack. Lord, You are the God who breaks chains and sets captives free (Luke 4:18). We rebuked every spirit of oppression, fear, and darkness that seeks to bind this beloved one. By the blood of Jesus, we command these forces to flee, for they have no authority over those who belong to Christ. Fill this precious soul with Your Holy Spirit—Your strength, Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and Your unshakable joy.
Father, if there is any area of unconfessed sin, conviction by Your Spirit to bring repentance and restoration. Clothe them in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so they may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. Let them walk in the victory that Jesus has already won on the cross. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be their shield and comfort.
We declare Your Word over them: *"The Lord will give strength to His people. The Lord will bless His people with peace"* (Psalm 29:11). May they feel Your nearness today and every day, knowing that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray—*Amen.*
Beloved, we encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, for it is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). Meditate on passages like Psalm 91, which reminds you that God is your fortress. Worship is also a mighty weapon—put on praise music and lift your voice to the Lord, even if you don’t feel like it. The enemy cannot stand in the presence of true worship.
Finally, surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. You were not meant to walk this journey alone. If you do not have a church home, we urge you to seek one where the Word of God is preached boldly and without compromise.
Stand firm, dear one. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You are loved, you are seen, and you are *more than a conqueror* through Christ (Romans 8:37).
