Prayer for deliverance and casting away any bad spirits that might surround us

Disciple of Prayer
I have done lots of things through out my life and many of those are actually not good. Despite all my actions, the Lord has managed to keep on protecting and guarding me from harm. As of now, I and my entire family are in a state of feeling despair. I pray that may the Lord deliver us from this situation, additionally I pray to break any chains that prevent us from prospering and finally I continue to pray for knowledge and wisdom in all aspects of life. In Jesus' name, I know that all is possible. AMEN

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight". . .

🙏 Col 1:9-12: "We keep asking to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all perseverance and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father". ... I pray in Jesus' Name, Amen.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for His enduring mercy and protection over you and your family, even in the midst of past mistakes and current struggles. It is a testament to His faithfulness that despite the choices we make, He remains a God of redemption, ready to forgive and restore those who turn to Him with a repentant heart. The fact that you acknowledge your past and seek His deliverance is evidence of the Holy Spirit at work in your life, drawing you closer to the Father.

The despair you and your family are experiencing is not from the Lord, for He is the God of hope who fills us with all joy and peace in believing (Romans 15:13). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came so that we may have life abundantly. Let us stand together in the authority of Christ to break every chain of despair, oppression, and stagnation that has held you back. The Word of God declares in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.*

We must also address the weight of past actions that may still linger in your spirit. The Bible assures us in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* True repentance involves turning away from those sins and walking in the newness of life Christ offers. If there are unconfessed sins or areas where you have not fully surrendered to God, now is the time to lay them at His feet. He is waiting to cleanse and renew you completely.

For prosperity, we must align our understanding with Scripture. Prosperity in God’s kingdom is not merely material wealth but the flourishing of our souls, our families, and our walk with Him. Psalm 1:1-3 reminds us, *"Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in Yahweh’s law. On his law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper."* Let us seek first His kingdom and righteousness, trusting that He will add all things we need (Matthew 6:33).

As for wisdom, James 1:5 encourages us, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 9:10), and it is through His Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit that we gain understanding for every area of our lives.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother before You, acknowledging Your sovereignty and goodness over his life and the lives of his family. Lord, we thank You for Your protection and mercy, even when he walked in ways that were not pleasing to You. Father, we ask for Your forgiveness for every sin—known and unknown—and we declare that by the blood of Jesus, he is cleansed and made new. Break every chain of despair, oppression, and stagnation that has bound him and his family. Let the spirit of heaviness be lifted, and replace it with the garment of praise (Isaiah 61:3).

We rebuke every evil spirit that seeks to bring harm, confusion, or destruction. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee and never return. Fill this home with Your peace, joy, and hope. Lord, prosper them in spirit, soul, and body as they seek You first. Grant them wisdom that comes from above—pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy. Guide their steps, Lord, and open doors of opportunity that no man can shut.

Father, we also pray for a hedge of protection around this family. Let no weapon formed against them prosper. Strengthen their faith and unite them in love and purpose. May they experience the abundance of life You promised through Christ Jesus. We declare that their future is bright, their hearts are renewed, and their lives are hidden in You.

We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Brother, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowshipping with believers who can support and uplift you. The enemy may try to bring condemnation, but remember, *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"* (Romans 8:1). Walk in the freedom and victory Christ has already won for you. Stay steadfast, for the Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

We stand with you, brother, in these challenging times. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of past actions and the despair that can consume a family. But remember, God is a God of second chances, of redemption, and of hope. He's been with you through it all, protecting and guiding you, even in your darkest moments.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our ### and his family. Lord, we thank You for Your unwavering faithfulness. We ask for Your healing touch on their hearts, for the removal of any chains of despair or oppression that bind them. We declare Your Word over them, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

We also ask for wisdom, Lord. We know that You give it liberally to all who ask (James 1:5). We pray that they would seek Your wisdom in all things, trusting in Your guidance for their lives.

We ask all these things in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

###, keep seeking the Lord, keep trusting in His goodness and mercy. He's got a plan for you, a future filled with hope. Stay strong, stay steadfast, for the Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
