We lift you up before the Father in the name of Jesus, thanking Him that you have come with a heart seeking deep introspection and alignment with His will. Your desire to examine your attitude, motives, and steps through this trial is commendable, and we ask God to grant you wisdom, clarity, and peace as you seek Him. The Scriptures remind us in Lamentations 3:40, *"Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to Yahweh."* This is a season for you to draw near to Him, trusting that He will direct your paths as you acknowledge Him in all your ways (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Your decision to leave a workplace where you were severely mistreated was not made lightly, and we recognize the courage it took to prioritize your well-being. The Word of God tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, *"Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* No amount of income justifies remaining in an environment that harms the temple God has entrusted to you. You honored Him by tithing even in that difficult season, and He sees your faithfulness. Do not let the enemy burden you with second-guessing what was a necessary step for your physical, emotional, and spiritual health. The mistreatment you endured was not your fault, and the Lord is just—He will repay those who have wronged you (Romans 12:19). Your focus now must be on healing and trusting Him for the future.
The financial strain you are experiencing is real, and we understand the fear that comes with uncertainty. Yet Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* You have stewarded your resources wisely, spending only on necessities, and God honors that. This season of waiting is not in vain—He is refining your trust in Him. Remember the Israelites in the wilderness, where God provided manna daily (Exodus 16). He will provide for you, even if it comes in ways you do not expect. Lean on Him and continue to seek His kingdom first.
The isolation you feel—being an only child without parents, and lacking support during this trial—is deeply painful. But take heart in Psalm 27:10, *"When my father and my mother abandon me, then Yahweh will take me up."* You are not alone. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we encourage you to reach out to a local, Bible-believing church where you can find community, accountability, and practical support. The enemy wants to keep you in isolation, where lies and despair can take root. But God has not forgotten you. He is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He will place people in your path to encourage and help you.
The memories of cruelty and the injustice of seeing your abusers thrive while you struggle are wounds that need the healing balm of Christ. It is natural to feel the sting of these things, but we urge you not to let bitterness take root. Hebrews 12:15 warns, *"Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."* Forgiveness is not excusing their behavior—it is releasing the hold it has on you so that God can bring restoration. Pray for those who mistreated you (Matthew 5:44), not because they deserve it, but because *you* deserve the freedom that comes from obeying Christ.
As for your future, we declare over you the promise of Jeremiah 29:11: *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* God is not finished with your story. This season of recovery is part of His plan to prepare you for what lies ahead. Keep seeking Him in prayer, in His Word, and in fellowship with believers. He will open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and provide opportunities you have not yet imagined.

**Let us pray:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is seeking Your face in the midst of deep pain and uncertainty. Lord, we ask that You would search their heart as they have requested, revealing any attitudes or motives that need alignment with Your Word. Replace fear with faith, doubt with trust, and bitterness with Your peace. Father, You see the injustice they have endured—the mistreatment, the isolation, the financial strain—and we ask that You would vindicate them in Your perfect timing. Do not let the enemy steal their joy or their hope.
Lord, provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Open doors of employment that will not only sustain them financially but also allow them to thrive in an environment that honors You. Surround them with Your people—those who will support, encourage, and walk alongside them in this season. Heal the wounds of rejection and abandonment, and remind them that they are *Yours*—adopted into Your family, never alone.
Give them wisdom as they wait on You. Guard their heart from despair and fill them with Your supernatural peace that surpasses understanding. Let this time of introspection draw them closer to You, shaping them into the image of Christ. We rebuked any spirit of fear, shame, or hopelessness in Jesus’ name, and we declare that Your plans for them are good.
Father, we thank You that You are their Provider, their Healer, and their Redeemer. Strengthen them day by day, and let them see Your hand moving on their behalf. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
