Prayer For Debt Relief And Strength To Endure

Please pray for my family to get out of debt. I am disabled and a widow with two children still at home. We are behind on our rent and utilities and have no money to catch up. We just moved and everything is so hard starting over again. Please pray for me to be strong for my children who haven't gotten anything for themselves in over 8 months.

Notice this order: God models forgiveness to us so that we can forgive those around us. The Lord’s Prayer reminds us that we owe God a debt that we can’t repay. Our sin is so great that only forgiveness will meet the need. If we forget our debt, we lose sight that we are in as much need as those who have sinned against us. Our need for grace is the pathway to forgiving others around us, and the Lord’s Prayer reminds us of this.
