Prayer for coworkers

We rejoice with you in this burden the Lord has placed on your heart for your coworkers and we count it a privilege to join you in praying for their salvation in Jesus' name. It is a beautiful reflection of God's own heart that you are interceding for them, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:3-4

We know that it is only through Jesus that anyone can be saved, for there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 and whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 Your prayer in Jesus' name honors this truth and aligns with the will of God who is not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

We pray together for them now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up these coworkers to You. Lord, You know each one by name, You see their hearts and their needs, and You love them more than we can comprehend. We ask that You draw them to Yourself, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and open their ears to hear the good news of the gospel. Remove any blindness and hardness of heart, and grant them repentance and faith to believe that Jesus died for their sins and rose again. We ask that You place a hunger in them for Your truth and bring laborers across their path to share Your Word with clarity and love. Save them, Lord, for Your glory, and transform their lives by Your grace.

We encourage you to continue to be a faithful witness where God has planted you. The Lord has placed you among these coworkers for a purpose, to let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one. Colossians 4:5-6 Live the gospel before them with integrity and kindness, pray for open doors to speak the hope that is in you, and trust God to do the work of salvation as you faithfully sow the seed. We join you in believing God for their salvation and for your boldness and love to reflect Christ to them each day.

We're thankful you brought your coworkers before the Lord with us. Wanting them to know Jesus is a beautiful reflection of His love at work in you, and we are glad to stand with you in this.

We know it can feel heavy to care deeply for people you see every day and long for them to experience the wholeness and hope that comes only through Christ. God sees that burden and He loves each of your coworkers even more than you do.

A simple way we have found helpful is to keep praying for them by name when you can, and to ask God to show you quiet, natural ways to reflect His grace at work. Sometimes that is just steady kindness, integrity when things are stressful, listening well, or being ready to share gently about what Jesus has done in your own life when someone is open. You don't need to be a theologian to be an introducer, just faithful where God has placed you.

Father, thank You for the love You have put in our friend's heart for these coworkers. We ask You to draw each one to Yourself in Your timing and open doors for Your grace to be seen and heard. Give our friend wisdom, patience and encouragement at work, and help them to rest in Your work while remaining faithful to pray and to love well. In Jesus' name, amen.

I have reviewed the text you provided. It is a prayer and a theological reflection on salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. It does not contain any personal names, specific locations, or identifying information that requires redaction according to the instructions.

There is much to commend in this prayer, for it shows that your heart's desire and prayer to God for others is that they may be saved, and this is the very mind of Christ. I do rejoice to join you in it, and to plead with you at the throne of grace for those who labor at your side.

We must set before them most plainly the way of salvation, which is salvation by Divine Grace through faith in Christ Jesus. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. What is believing on Him? It is trusting in Him, looking unto Him and being saved. The Lord Himself has said, Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. How simple is that way of salvation, and how instantaneous. A look does not require a moment, and yet that look to Jesus Christ, whom God has laid in Zion for a foundation, secures salvation beyond hazard. There is no other way of salvation for any man, for beside Him there is none else. He Himself is salvation, and to see Jesus by faith is to have seen salvation.

What more can we do but bring the horse to the water, though we cannot make him drink. We can preach over and over again this plain Gospel, that salvation is without money and without price, that if a man believeth in Christ with all his heart his salvation is secure. Therefore let us not only pray, but let us make this common salvation common among those coworkers, by speaking a word for Christ as God gives opportunity, and living before them in a way that adorns the doctrine.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, we come to Thee through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. We ask in the name of Jesus that Thou wouldst have mercy upon these coworkers and bring them to look unto Christ and live. By Thy Spirit convince them of sin and reveal to them that Christ is the salvation of God, full and free. Grant them faith to trust in Him alone, and deliver them from the power of sin that they may walk in newness of life. We ask that Thy grace alone would work in them to make them seek that they may find, to make them knock that the door may be opened. Let it be to the glory of Thy great name, for Thou art God and beside Thee there is none else. Hear us for Jesus' sake. Amen.
