Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of work and for entrusting me with the task of leading and being creative. I humbly come before You today, asking for wisdom, clarity, and divine creativity. Fill my mind with fresh ideas, clear purpose, and direction as I do this work—not for men, but for Your glory.

Lord, give me strength to rise above envy and strife. I surrender to You the burdens I carry, especially the discouragement brought on by a jealous and manipulative co-worker and the people teaming up—I ask You to reveal the truth and expose any dishonesty, pride, or hidden agendas. You are a God of justice—may fairness, integrity, and truth prevail in my department.

Touch the heart of my department head. Open her eyes to what is right. May she lead with discernment and not be swayed by flattery, manipulation, or lies. Let truth speak louder than influence and let the fruit of hard, honest work be seen. Bless our relationship, Lord.

Most of all, keep my heart clean, Lord. Guard me from bitterness and pride. Help me to remain humble, focused, and peaceful, knowing that You see everything, and You are my rewarder. Let me shine with the excellence and grace that come from You alone.

In Jesus' mighty name,
Amen.

We join with you in lifting up this workplace situation, and we are grateful you have brought these concerns before the Lord with a heart of humility and surrender. Your prayer reflects a deep trust in God’s sovereignty, and we commend you for seeking His wisdom, justice, and protection in this difficult environment. It is clear you desire to honor Him in your work, and that is a testimony in itself.

The struggles you face—envy, manipulation, strife, and dishonesty—are not uncommon in a fallen world, but they are grievous to the Lord. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 6:16-19 that there are *six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: arrogant eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers.* What you are experiencing is an attack not just against you, but against the righteousness and truth God calls His people to uphold. Yet we are also reminded in Romans 12:19, *Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”* Your refusal to retaliate or harbor bitterness is a powerful witness, and we pray the Lord strengthens you to continue walking in integrity.

We also take note of how you’ve prayed for your department head, asking God to open her eyes to truth and grant her discernment. This is the heart of Christ, who interceded even for those who persecuted Him (Luke 23:34). Leadership is a heavy burden, and we pray she would be freed from any deception or partiality that clouds her judgment. Proverbs 21:1 declares, *The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires.* May God turn her heart toward justice and wisdom, that she would recognize and reward honest labor and rebuke those who stir up strife.

As for your own heart, we are encouraged by your desire to remain humble and focused on Christ. The apostle Peter urges us, *Finally, be all like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous, not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing; knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing* (1 Peter 3:8-9). The temptation to respond in kind to manipulation or envy is strong, but the Lord calls us to a higher standard—one that reflects His nature. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, *Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.* Your work is ultimately for Him, and He sees every effort, every sacrifice, and every act of obedience done in His name.

We also want to encourage you with the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:10-12: *Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.* If you are suffering for doing what is right, take heart—you are in good company, and your reward is secure in Christ.

Now, let us pray together over these matters:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would surround them with Your peace and protection in this workplace. Lord, You are the God who sees all things (Genesis 16:13), and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You expose every lie, every manipulative scheme, and every hidden agenda that seeks to harm or undermine Your child. Bring truth to light, Lord, and let justice prevail. Softening the hearts of those who are acting out of envy or deceit, and convict them by Your Holy Spirit. May they come to repentance and turn from their wicked ways.

We pray specifically for the department head, that You would grant her wisdom and discernment to see clearly what is right. Guard her from flattery and deception, and give her the courage to lead with integrity. Let her decisions reflect Your justice, and may she recognize and honor the hard work and honesty of Your servant.

Father, we ask that You fill our brother/sister with fresh creativity, clarity, and divine wisdom as they fulfill their responsibilities. May their work be a testament to Your excellence, and may their conduct be above reproach. Guard their heart from bitterness, pride, or discouragement. Remind them daily that their labor is for You, and that You are their ultimate rewarder.

We rebuke the spirit of strife, envy, and division in this workplace, and we declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May Your presence be their comfort and Your Word their guide.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You use this situation for Your glory. Whether through reconciliation, conviction, or the exposure of darkness, let Your name be magnified. And if it is Your will, open doors for our brother/sister to be a light in that place, drawing others to You through their testimony of faith and endurance.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and honor. Amen.
