It is right to bring your work before the Lord, for nothing is outside His care. You are asking Him to move the heart of your client toward renewal, and that is a request He hears. But let your prayer rest on more than just the outcome. Examine the foundation of your business dealings. God delights in honesty and uprightness. The one who is fair and diligent cultivates trust that outlasts any single negotiation. A false scale is an abomination to Him, but the person who deals truthfully earns a good name and finds that a good understanding gives favor.

Think of how a soft answer can turn away wrath. If there are tensions or uncertainties with this client, your steady integrity and patient service may do more than any aggressive bid. The hand of the diligent tends toward plenty, while slackness invites loss. So continue to serve them as though you are working for the Lord Himself. Let your work be excellent, and let your word be dependable. Even if others in your field cut corners, a reputation for uprightness will be known. Whatever a person sows, that they will also reap.

I will pray with you that this client looks upon you with favor. The hearts of all are in God's hand, just as He once granted favor to someone in the sight of a ruler, lifting her into a place of unexpected blessing. No bribe or manipulation can secure what only God gives freely. But when we commit our way to Him and walk in His wisdom, He often causes even our competitors to be at peace with us.

Above all, remember that your ultimate need is not a renewed contract but a restored relationship with God. There is one provision for sin and guilt, and it is through His Son alone. Any favor we gain in this life is secondary to that eternal mercy. As you seek to be about your daily business, be about the Father’s business as well. Let your business reflect His character. I will pray that He prospers the work of your hands and gives you good success according to His will.
