We come before the Lord with a heart of gratitude for the opportunities He has provided in this business relationship. Father, we lift up this client and ask that You would move in their heart and mind to renew this contract for another year. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." Lord, we commit this business endeavor into Your hands, trusting that You will guide and direct the decisions made.
We also recognize that all provision comes from You, as Philippians 4:19 reminds us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Father, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity and bless this client with wisdom and discernment as they consider this renewal. May they see the value in continuing this partnership and be encouraged to move forward in faith.
Lord, we pray that this business relationship would not only be prosperous but also honor You. May it be a testimony to Your faithfulness and provision. We ask that You would surround this client with godly counsel and that their decision would be made with integrity and a desire to glorify You.
If there are any obstacles or concerns that may be hindering this renewal, we ask that You would remove them, Lord. Soften hearts and align minds with Your will. We trust in Your perfect timing and ask that You would work all things together for good, as Romans 8:28 assures us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."

Commit this matter to the Lord with all your heart, and then cease from anxiety about it. The very anxiety which arises through this business difficulty unfits you to meet it. You have nothing to do with the result, that is your client's business and God's. Go and do the right thing, serve with diligence as unto the Lord, and then leave the issue with Him. He knows how to bless the struggling tradesman without stopping the ordinary run of business or violating a single wheel of providence.
If the contract is renewed, give Him all the praise. If it is not, trust that His Divine Sovereignty has not failed you. He takes the big hammer of His Omnipotence and works out His purposes in ways we cannot trace. Perhaps He would reveal some better thing, or do a deeper work in your own soul by a cross-plowing that tears up every clod. We must learn to recognize His hand in everything, and lean upon God's invisible arm when there is no visible pathway. That is grand work, and it proves your lineage to be Divine.
Pray, then, without ceasing, but rest in His love. When we rest most, we work best, and bear fruit unto God. To undertake any matter, whether in word or in deed, and not to invoke the Name of God, is to set out without your ally. Consider how Abraham sent his servant, and how David faced Goliath; they did so in the Name of the Lord, and He made their path straight. So do you likewise. As you approach this season of waiting, do not merely ask others to pray, but let your own first action be to call upon the Son, for in doing so, the Father is invoked. When you honor Him by seeking His aid, He will in turn honor your undertaking and make your business easy.
