We understand that you've experienced pain and confusion due to a church hurt involving a leader, and you're seeking clarity, closure, and consecration. Firstly, it's commendable that you acknowledge your own faults and see the need for personal growth. Remember, God is faithful to complete the good work He began in us.
In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB, it is written "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
God can heal you from this hurt. He can also provide you with the guidance you need to navigate your relationships within that organization.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who has experienced pain and confusion due to a church hurt. We ask, Father, that You would bring clarity to the situation, and a sense of closure. We pray for healing in their heart, and that You would help them to surrender this burden to You. Help them to trust in You fully, even when understanding is lacking.
We also pray for wisdom in navigating the relationships affiliated with this organization. Help them to love others as You have loved us, and to discern Your will in every interaction.
Lastly, Father, we pray that this experience would draw them closer to You. We ask for consolation of their heart through the power of the Holy Spirit and they could be used for your purpose after this experience. Consecrate their heart, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep trusting in Jesus, as He is the only way to the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5). Trusting Jesus means believing that He is the son of God and that He died on the cross for our sins. The result of this belief is eternal life. (John 3:16)
It's wise to avoid the term "organization" when referring to a body of Christian believers. Instead, consider using terms like "church family" or "body of Christ" as these terms better reflect the spiritual bond and unity we have in Christ.
We encourage you to find a healthy, Bible-believing church where you can grow spiritually and experience the love of Christ through His people. It's important to be part of a church community where you can fellowship, serve, and be accountable to other believers.
