Prayer for Christian project in progress

I humbly ask for your prayers as several brethren ( and myself) are involved in a faith- based film ministry project to share the gospel. We are being spiritually attacked, but proceed in faith Prayer for God to succeed in removing all obstacles and granting us breakthrough in Jesus name

We stand with you in faith, lifting up this vital ministry before the throne of grace. The spiritual attacks you are facing are not uncommon when God’s work is advancing, indeed, the enemy seeks to thwart every effort that glorifies Christ and spreads the gospel. But we declare with the apostle Paul: "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4 WEB). The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already secured the victory through the cross.

We rebuke every scheme of the enemy, doubt, division, financial strain, creative blocks, or any other obstacle, casting it down in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We pray that every barrier be removed, every door of opportunity flung wide open, and every resource needed, whether financial, creative, or spiritual, be provided according to His riches in glory. May this film ministry shine as a light in the darkness, drawing souls to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Father, we ask You to anoint this project from start to finish. Let Your Holy Spirit guide the script, the casting, the production, and the hearts of those who will watch. May the gospel be presented with clarity, boldness, and love, piercing the hearts of unbelievers and stirring the faith of Your people. Protect this team from discouragement, pride, or compromise, and unite them in humility and purpose. Let this work bear fruit that remains, for Your glory alone.

We pray for divine favor in distribution, whether through theaters, streaming platforms, or grassroots outreach. May the message of salvation through Jesus Christ reach those who are lost, broken, and searching. Let this film be a tool in Your hands to save souls, strengthen the Church, and advance Your kingdom. We declare that no weapon formed against this ministry shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and that the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18 WEB).

In the name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, we bind every spirit of hindrance and loose the angels of God to go before this team. May they walk in supernatural peace, wisdom, and provision, knowing that their labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58 WEB). We thank You, Father, for the breakthrough that is already on the way. Amen.

We stand with you in this exciting work of sharing the gospel through film. It’s no surprise that spiritual opposition flares up when the message of Christ goes forward in fresh, creative ways, but that doesn’t make it easy, and we’re praying right along with you for breakthrough.

Something we’ve seen help other teams in similar seasons is simply staying covered together in focused, matter-of-fact prayer, not just for the project overall, but naming specific obstacles, locations, and the people carrying particular weight. When everyone knows they’re being prayed for by name and can text a quick request in the moment, it often diffuses the heavy sense of attack and keeps hearts united instead of isolated. You’re already pressing on in faith; that’s the hardest and best thing. Keep your eyes on Jesus, not on the size of the opposition, He is building His church, and the gates of hell cannot stand against it.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to silence every voice and remove every barrier that would hinder this project. Guard this team from discouragement, confusion, and division. Give them steady courage, clear creativity, and the resources they need. Make a way where there seems to be no way, and let the finished work draw many hearts to You. We pray for Your name’s sake and in Your authority. Amen.

The true Gospel is, in itself, most plain and clear. It is a glorious light, and you are laboring to let it shine through this film. When you are attacked, it proves the very thing Paul warned: the god of this world blinds minds, but your work tears away that veil. Press on, for if the Gospel is hidden from some, it is not due to any defect in the message, but to the fatal blindness of the lost; yet your task is to hold it forth, and God will do the rest.

I have long boasted that I have a praying people, and any measure of success is entirely owing, under God, to prayer. The power lies not in talent or human skill, but in the Holy Spirit upon the work. You ask for the removal of obstacles, how quickly God can turn the most fierce persecutors into the most earnest preachers of the Gospel! Be of good heart. What he did with a blasphemer like Paul, he can do with any who now oppose. The more Satan rages, the more you may laugh at impossibilities, for he who sows in hope shall reap in joy.

Adorn this Gospel with a cheerful countenance and a happy life, even while the battle rages. Your ministry is a condescension of Christ to use you, and he will supply the cordial for your fears. Carry this cordial to the heavy of heart through your film, but remember: only the Holy Spirit can sweetly constrain a soul to drink deeply. Pray, then, as men who believe the Gospel will save souls and hurl down idols. Do not sink in despair, for the Lord shall yet grant you a harvest.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. You speak of spiritual attack and obstacles as if these were strange. But this is the mark of every true ministry. Look at the Apostle: even in chains he did not cease preaching, and when some proclaimed Christ from envy, thinking to add affliction to his bonds, he rejoiced that the Gospel was furthered. Your film project is a spiritual work, a ministry of the Word. The enemy will always stir up hindrances, but the high spirit of the righteous man surmounts all. Abraham, against hope, believed in hope, though his body was dead and Sarah’s womb dead. God who raises the dead will remove these barriers. Hold fast your confidence firm to the end; do not be shaken by trials. Pray, not “Choose,” but “Show the chosen one,” for He knows the hearts of all. Fear not, neither be troubled; the Gospel must be preached. Put away every film from your eyes, look steadfastly to the things to come, and proceed in faith. The Lord will grant the breakthrough, because the work is His own.
