Prayer for child

Please pray for my little brother who has cancer in his leg he is ### years old and has he’s whole life ahead of him he is due for surgery to try to remove in Wednesday please pray that all goes well and he is healed

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your little brother in prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask that You would lay Your healing hands upon this precious child, guiding the surgeons with wisdom and skill as they operate. May every cell in his body respond to Your touch, Lord, and may the cancer be completely removed, leaving no trace behind.

We declare Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Strengthen this young boy, Lord, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Surround him with Your angels, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way.

Father, we also pray for his family during this difficult time. Grant them strength, patience, and unwavering faith in You. Help them to trust in Your plan, even when the road is hard. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and sickness in the name of Jesus Christ. We command the cancer to leave his body and declare that by His stripes, this child is healed. We pray that the surgery would be successful, and that he would recover quickly, returning to full health and vitality.

Lord, we know that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. We thank You for sending Your Son to die for our sins so that we might have eternal life. We pray that this family knows You personally, Lord, and that they have put their trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior. If they have not, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, revealing Your love and grace to them in a powerful way.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We are holding your little brother close in our hearts today. The days leading up to a surgery like this can feel like a heavy fog, every normal routine suddenly seems fragile, and the weight of what you love most presses on your chest. It makes complete sense to feel anxious.

During times like these, we’ve seen that a family doesn’t have to be “brave” alone. Sometimes the most honest thing you can do is simply let a few trusted people know what you specifically need: a meal, a ride for another sibling, or just someone to sit with you in the waiting room without needing to fill the silence. Letting others carry the practical pieces, even small ones, keeps the path clear for you to simply be his sister.

We are praying for his complete healing, and we’re also praying for the surgical team, for steady hands, clear minds, and wisdom for every decision made in that operating room. It’s right to place your trust in God’s care for your brother, and it’s also right to trust the medical professionals God has given skill to. If you haven’t already, let the doctors know any specific worries you’re carrying; they want the same good outcome you do.

Please hold on to this: whatever Wednesday brings, your love for him is already doing its work. A child who is loved that fiercely knows he isn’t facing this alone, and that sense of safety is a real gift.

Let’s pray together now. Father, thank you for the life of this precious boy. We ask you to guide the surgeons, bring complete healing to his young body, and wrap his whole family in your peace, a peace that doesn’t depend on outcomes but rests in your presence. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a heavy burden that bows your heart to the ground, yet remember the Tree of Life whose very leaves are for healing. The least things about Christ are full of virtue, and you may see even this surgeon’s knife as a leaf plucked from that Tree, an instrument in the hand of the great Physician. The Lord Jesus does not need to thunder from Sinai to cure this little one; a glance, a touch, a word, the hem of His garment, is enough to chase away the foul cancer that afflicts the leg. His power to heal is as present on Wednesday as when He walked in Galilee, for the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings for all who look to Him.

Do not imagine that healing must come apart from the forgiveness which makes the soul whole. When Jesus saw the palsied man let down through the roof, He first said, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee,” and then arose the bodily cure. Pardon and healing walk hand in hand from the throne of grace. Pray, then, not only for the limb but for the soul of this dear child, that both may be restored by the same compassionate hand. The Lord can make the theater of surgery a house of mercy, and the recovery ward a place of praise.

Run to the teaching of the Word, for when Christ was teaching, the power of the Lord was present to heal. Gather the promises like leaves from the tree of life and press them to the boy’s heart. The surgeon’s skill, the prayers of the saints, the love of the family, these are all ropes to let down the little stretcher before Jesus. He will not pass by such faith. He sees the tears, He hears the groans, and He will say, “I will come and see your sick child,” which means He will search into the matter with all the wisdom of Godhead and the tenderness of a brother born for adversity.

You fear, perhaps, that the disease has gone too far. But remember the man born blind: from the womb no eyes had gathered light, yet the clay and the spittle wrought a new creation. Christ our Lord is the opener of blind eyes and the restorer of withered limbs. If sin’s cataract and self-reliance’s proud palsy are removed by His word, shall a tumor withstand Him? Never. The great ill of a broken heart He binds up; the great fear of a threatened life He can vanquish. The healing is not yet seen, but the command has gone forth. The fever must depart, the cancer must flee. He took Peter’s mother by the hand and lifted her up; He will take this little one by the hand on Wednesday and raise him from the bed of affliction.

Only let your hearing be faith, and faith shall be sight. When the Master speaks the word, every sentence is life to the soul that leans forward to catch it. The devil would make you inattentive now, to rob you of the promise; but give ear as one reading a father’s letter. The healing leaves are for the nations, and this small sufferer is part of a nation for whom the balm flows freely. I would have you go to the mercy-seat with this cry: “Lord, forgive, and heal; spare, and renew; let the surgeon’s hand be Thine own; bring this child back from the valley of the shadow, and let his life be a sweet ministry to Thee, as she who arose and ministered to Jesus.” The desire to serve arises out of healing, and this boy has his whole life ahead to run with gladness in the way of the Lord. May the Great Physician give a happy issue, and may you soon stand with joy in this Tabernacle to testify, “The Lord has done great things for us, whereof we are glad.” God bless you and the little one, and grant a sky full of healing light on Wednesday, for Jesus’ sake.

The Church is a spiritual surgery. Bring your little brother here in your prayers, and let the whole congregation carry him to the Physician of souls and bodies. Do not place hope in amulets or whispers of superstitious comfort, but sign him with the Cross and say, “This alone is our remedy.” On Wednesday, when the knife is laid to his flesh, remember that not a sparrow falls without the Father, and that this affliction can be turned to his eternal good if you surrender him into God’s hands with thanksgiving.

Do not say, “He has his whole life ahead of him,” as if the Lord’s timing were somehow a mistake. That life is already hidden with Christ in God. Pray with boldness, yes, and with tears, but also with trust that the One who formed that leg in the womb knows best how to restore it. I have often seen a single prayer, offered with humble persistence after many seemed unanswered, bring about a sudden healing that all the previous petitions had been preparing.

Yet even if the healing tarries, or comes in a way you do not expect, know that this child’s suffering can become a martyr’s contest, for him and for you. When parents refuse false remedies and cling only to Christ, they offer their child to God as a living sacrifice. Such faith is not defeated by a grave. So gather the faithful around you, confess your hopes and fears to one another, and let this trial bind you together into one flesh, like the very body of Christ. We will pray with you, but do not wait for my words alone. At this moment, before Wednesday, lift up your own voice and say, “Lord, we place this child upon the altar of Your mercy; do with him what is good and acceptable in Your sight.” That prayer has more power than a thousand anxious plans.

I am lifting your little brother before the Lord right now, and I will continue to pray as Wednesday’s surgery approaches. There is something so tender about a child facing such a heavy weight, and I understand the ache you carry for him. Your request reminds me of saints in Scripture who refused to stop asking, even when the answer seemed long delayed. They persisted, laying the same need before God year after year, and God heard every whispered prayer. Do not grow weary. Keep bringing this young life to the Father, knowing He attends to the cries of those who trust Him.

Children hold a sacred place in God’s heart. Jesus pulled them close, rebuked those who would harm them, and told us that unless we receive the kingdom with their kind of simple, trusting faith, we cannot enter it. Your little brother has that whole life ahead of him, and it matters deeply to the Lord. The very same Jesus who laid His hands on every sick person brought to Him, who healed diverse diseases and set captives free, is alive and able to act now. I pray that His healing power would flow into that leg, that the surgery would be successful, and that every cancer cell would be removed completely. I ask for wisdom for the medical team and for peace to guard your family’s hearts.

But above the healing itself, I pray you will seek the Healer. It is easy to want the gift more than the Giver, to chase relief while missing the One who becomes whatever we truly need. When we ask for healing, He reveals Himself as the Lord our Healer, the God who not only mends bodies but binds up broken hearts and brings life from death. So press into Him. Whether the answer comes as a miraculous deliverance or as strength to walk through a longer trial, you will find that Jesus Himself is enough. A sword of sorrow can pierce a family’s soul, yet the Son of righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and even in the hardest moments His purposes for that child are never wasted.

Stand on the authority you have in the name of Jesus, not because any of us are special, but because we belong to Him. Pray believing, and let your brother see the light of Christ in your steady hope. I am standing with you, asking for a full recovery and for this little one to grow strong, to bear witness of God’s mercy, and to live out all the days appointed for him before the foundation of the world. The hand of the Lord is not shortened that it cannot save. Trust Him, rest in Him, and keep your eyes on the One who wept with those He loved and who still delights to show compassion to His children.
